just returned home after a 3 week stay at the monteray,we arrive after office hours but the security guard is very helpful,the staff were wonderfull as they are every year,this year was our wedding and honeymoon and the staff did some lovely,thoughtful things for us,i like the immaculate gardens and pool,we do stay every year as we love barbados and the monteray is the only place we would stay,a definate return trip for years to come

Stayed at Monteray Apartments on a business trip for 1 month, I must say the location was great, near Dover beach and St-Lawrence gap where you can eat out in nice restaurants. The room are very spacious, the bed is good and the hostel is very clean. The bathroom was clean and there is hot water. Love the maid service

monteray is a wonderful space. it is extremely quaint and the entire staff is welcoming and polite. i have been going to barbados for many years and always stay at the monteray. it is close to everything, but specifically located enough that the noise from st. lawrence gap is minimal. yet, it is 15 minute walk to bars and clubs in the gap and a 6 - 7 minute walk to the beach. i love that the rooms are equipped with all the amenities of home (refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, stove, utensils and dishes - all especially useful since i have kids.) i'd say if you want a wonderful barbados experience, at a reasonable price, call the monteray. ms ambrose, ms antonio and wendy will be more than welcoming.

They staff at the Monteray Hotel stole my Bags, money Passport from out of my room. Do Not Stay There!!
