Time Out is great values for money. I think it is best economy deal in the Gap if you wanna stay in Hotel. Staff is very friendly and rooms are nice. Breakfast is included and served in restaurant next door. That same restaurant is a great bar at night having some fantastic parties, which obviously might be a problem if you're not a party person and noise might disturb you. There is also very nice swimming pool. Only 2 minutes walking to the beautiful beach.

The rooms are fine. Nothing special or problematic. The pool is quite good and a nice beach is just across the road. The staff is indifferent. I would not classify them as friendly or unfriendly; it is just that they seem like they'd rather be elsewhere and would rather you go away than approach them with questions or requests. For pricey Barbados, the value is pretty good, especially to be at St. Lawrence Gap. The "continental breakfast" is the ubiquitous toast and Tang, so you have been warned.

We just returned from Time Out. We spent three nights here and three nights at The Crane. We wanted a chance to experience both areas. This hotel does not claim to be a luxury hotel. It is a basic hotel that is in a great location in St. Lawrence Gap. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The restaurant was good and we had a lot of fun hanging out there at night. The enjoyable thing about staying here was that next to the hotel was a football (soccer) field. They were having an above 40 master's tournament and we enjoyed watching different countries playing against each other. Dover Beach was directly across the street and was a very nice beach. I truly enjoyed seeing and experiencing the local culture. They are a friendly bunch of people and I loved being around them. On Sunday night, just across the street, my husband and I left the restaurant/bar and walked into a local Karaoke get-together that they apparently have on Sunday evenings. There was food cooking on the grill, drinks, etc. We had a wonderful time and felt very welcome. When we had a few things not working in our room, the maintenance man came up right away. Since they needed more time to fix it, we were moved across the hall to another room. I wish I could remember the maintenance man's name, but I can say that he was very friendly and we appreciated him very much. The ladies at the front desk were so sweet and helpful as well. I have nothing negative to say about the Time Out. I wish others weren't so negative about things. What some saw as a nuissance and an annoyance, I chose to look at as quaint and charming. The hotel is supposed to be completely renovated this fall. Maybe this will make some people happy. All in all, this hotel met our needs, and provided us with a wonderful and enjoyable experience. We miss it already.

This hotel should be condemned! The pictures are deceiving. I chose this hotel because of the location and price, but the whole experience with management and staff was horrific. After a 13 hour flight and waiting another hour for the room to be ready it still was filthy: the linen had cigarette holes, the bathroom was unsanitary. There were hairs from the previous guest or guests on the sink and in the shower. The courtyard pool deserted; there was an ant infestation in/around the screen doors connecting to the room. The unaccommodating management refused to negotiate a refund after I noted their hotels deplorable condition. Save your time, money and the headache. STAY AWAY from this HOTEL!
