“Lovely romantic getaway”

We booked very last minute so didn't read the reviews and to be honest just wanted a week in the sun before the madness of Christmas so wasn't too fussed as long as we had the beach and the weather stayed kind to us.

Our expectations were exceeded.

The rooms were spacious and clean - the bathroom was a little rough around the edges but hey how long does it take to have a shower - also always plenty of hot water.

The beach is lovely with plenty of sun loungers, brollys and we even had waiter service on the beach for drinks. I know some poeple pay to upgrade to the Club Service which gives priorities over brollys, stocked mini bar and free internet access etc, however, we didn't bother and managed to get internet access for free from the balcony of our hotel and who needs a mini bar filled with drinks when you can take up to your room anything you need - it seemed a waste of money to us.

The restaurant had a vast array of food and certainly there was something for everyone to enjoy. At the beginning we were a little worried about having to book a set time for evening meals but to be honest we ended up preferring it and it meant that we never had to queue for dinner. The evening restaurant was buffet with a couple of days per week al a carte. We preferred the buffet days as you could linger over your dinner for as long as you want. On the al a carte nights the poor waitress was very quick to clear and serve your next course so you ended up eating your whole evening meal in 1/2hr - not sure if this is because they are told to keep clearing or our particular waitress was just very nervous and didn't want to keep us waiting. Anyway a tip to management people like to linger over the evening meal and not rush.

The adult only pool was lovely and very quiet and peaceful and we loved the cold jacuzzis.

All in all a lovely hotel and we will hopefully return.

“Wonderful holidays. !”

We traveled on 24th December until the 2nd January we had a wonderful holiday for our first trip to barbados so much so we have rebooked for the same dates this year.

Only criticism was the subbed and towel issues having upgraded to a club room a little chaotic on occasions a cool beer soon chilled the stresses out!

Rooms well presented and equipped

Food overall was acceptable for a all inclusive hotel

The Azul was very pricey although what we had was very nice.

The virgin trips were ok but a bit pricey, much better with the local guides do book with barefoot ted he was absolutely fab and we managed to see such a lot of the island and learn about the culture do look him up.

The picnic with the staff was very much talked about as a highlight of many of he repeat guests of he sea breeze so looking forward to trying that on the next visit.

Overall a good value holiday and the weather was gorgeous nearly forgot the beach was breath taking !

A much deserved holiday ! Happy days can't eat till Xmas 2012!! See you then! X

“Amazing time at the Sea Breeze, Lovely Beach + Great Staff”

Just got back from 2 weeks in the Sea Breeze which we thouroughly enjoyed! We were a party of six and not a sIngle one of us have a complaint. Half of the party were returning for the second time and thought it was just as good as the previous year. There are lots of guests that return year after year. The staff are fantastic and the watersports guys were great. The beach is beautiful with pure white soft sand and very safe. Great location for hoping on a bus to st Lawrence Gap or taking a walk down to Oistins. No complaints about the hotel or staff at all - we will be returning next year! Sad it is all over!!!

Room Tip: Choose a room away from reception if you go to bed before 11pm. Otherwise entertainment is generally...

“A love affair with the Fabulous Barbados :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

We stayed at the Sea Breeze Hotel in March 2010 and it was Fabulous.
I had researched a lot and with us wanting AI this came up the best deal and we were not dissapointed. We went with Virgin who were great, I was 3 months pregnant at the time and once mentioned to staff they were really attentive....ensuring i was hydrated etc :)
On arrival we had a smooth check-in and were shown to a lovely spacious room which was well air conditioned and had a HUGE bed.
We werent ocean faced but we could see the sea from where we were which was lovely :)

Breakfast was fab - lovely ocean faced restaurant with lots of choice for even the fussiest of eaters (thats me).
Lunch was good too - you could eat at the pool bard which had fab sandwiches / pizza etc
or you could eat in the a la carte - i ate there a couple of times but was at the pool bar more often than not.
Dinner - this was sometimes menu or buffet - i struggled couple of times with the menu but I am very fussy and i was pregnant at the time so made me fussier (if possible).
We went to the Azul once and i quite enjoyed but the supplement was a bit steep in our opinion but thought it was pretty simalar to the other restaurant.

There was always enough room round the pool or on the beach - weather was FAB!!!! Would definately return :)
There is a kids club which looked quite good - they even brought a petting zoo in one day for the children.
The spa was nice - I had my nails done which was lovely and hubby had a massage.

We also saw turtles when we were sat on the beach - they used to come quite close to the shore - AMAZING!!!!

We went to Oistins which was fab - great atmosphere and lovely food.

Catamaran trip too - thinkn it was the virgin platinum one - was great - swam with turtles - fab lunch and AI drinks too (hubby took full advantage)

Cant think of anythig else but all in all an amzaing holiday x

“underwhelmed”

we have just come back from a week at this hotel.it is close to a couple of towns and has a good beach area with sun beds etc.in general this hotel did not disappoint us.we found all the staff friendly and good natured.if you have problems with any, then its you not them!
there is no `fast service` in the caribbean so don`t expect it.have another drink, sit back and enjoy.the main poor point for us was the food.leftovers for lunch from breakfast and the previous dinner.same fish every day also.there is no BBQ night either, only in name.we went to Azul twice and this is worth the visits if you pay or not.there was no entertainment on the friday either-no explanation.it was a sad end to our week.if you find yourselves in the accommodation block to the right of reception and are a light sleeper, its best to move as the loud noise from the music WILL keep you awake till late.the Virgin island tour is of poor value.

Room Tip: ask to be in a block away from the reception area. anything other than 101-107.201-207.301-307
