If you are looking for the Hilton or some other over-priced resort that offers you their version of paradise in a sanitized and expensive package, then don't go to Surfer's Point. If you are looking for serentiy, beauty, the crash of the surf putting you to sleep each night and some of the most down to earth and gracious hosts, then do go. This small hotel is a gem. The property is beautiful, located on a cove off surfers point with good swimming, surfing and the center of kite surfing action a couple of blocks away. It's a quiet area so you will need a rental car to get to the restaurants and night life or just hop a bus, which are numerous.
The highlight of my trip, (and my wife's) was seeing my wife surf for the first time after 1 lesson with Zed's well - qualified instructors. They did an awesome job. That and being able to share in our host's culture and freindship which they were very gracious with. I have already made plans to return with the rest of my family!
