We wanted a small hotel as close to Bridgetown as poss so we could use public transport to get around the island. We found out later that some of the buses run from the Garrison area close by up to the north so we didn't even need to get into BT to get this bus. By the way, the local buses are fantastic. Nautilus was fine except room number 1 has no outside area apart from the bit for all residents so we had to carry our breakfast across the carpark. Also it was very dark as we couldn't open windows (only shutters) I think any of the other room would be great and many are booked repeatedly year after year. At first we couldn't find eating p,aces nearby but after a couple of days we realised there were several. We don't do hire cars but if you do, it's no problem at all. Go to Oistins Friday night and book a table if you want to eat at the Waterside restaurant in BT.
