“This was our first trip to Bermuda and...”

This was our first trip to Bermuda and will not be our last after the wonderful time we had. The island and the people are delightful and so was out stay at the Greene's Guest House. Staying at a B&B like this gives you a much more authentic experience. The breakfast absolutely amazing each morning and Mrs. Greene gave us a personal tour of Southampton upon our arrival. We love her to death and would go back simply to see her again!

“Quaint, Spacious, Beautiful Location-Great Service”

My husband and I travelled to Bermuda on business and were recommended to the Greenes Guest house by a local Bermudan.

The location which overlooks the sea has a breath taking view with all the privacy and peace of a private villa. The outdoor area has a pool and lots of room for lounging and enjoying the view of the sea. There are also 3 sunrooms whcih have the same view and even a bar for entertaining if you wish.

The bus stops within a block of the front of the house and is very inexpensive so you can go anywhere on the island for business or pleasure with ease.

The room/suite was very clean and furnished in English style, very charming. Mrs. greene is very the best, will drop you off at nearby destinations and cooks a full breakfast from a menu that has something for everyone. She was a delightful, efficient, and very entertaing woman who we grew to love in just a few days.

We would recommend the guest house if you like personal service but do not enjoy the resort type hotels which are the other option on Bermuda. Staying there is much more like living there, you cant expect marble floors, brass handrails, etc, but, you certainly enjoy a lovely home with lots of privacy besides.

Mrs. Greene, thank you!

“Fantistic place In A Fantastic Country”

Where to start, nothing but a good report from me.
It was not like staying in a guest house it was a 2nd home!
Mrs Greene is one of the nicest people i have met and nothing was to mush trouble for her.
First night i arrived i did not have much in the way of food of drink and there was nothing nearby at that time but Mrs Greene made a something to eat and gave me a gallon of water!
i was there for my best friend's wedding and he was staying at the Reefs a couple of miles away but stayed at Greene's the night before his wedding, he mentioned that he had to go back and get his suit that afternoon, upon hearing that Mrs.Greene drove us there to pick it up.
Room was big and large,.
The views from the back garden are unreal, overlooking the ocean.
Central part of the island with a bus stop on either side of the road to take you anywhere in either direction just two minutes from the guest house (did the people in the first post not see these!!!!!!!!).
The people of Bermuda are the nicest i have ever met and never once did i feel i had to take caution.
Marks out 10 i will give it 14!
Mrs Greene also lets guests use the computer in the living room for nothing.
Also a mention to Rodney the Maintenance/Security/come everything guy, what a guy and characte

“Had a great time!”

My husband and I stayed at this Guest house for 3 days and loved it! It is not for those looking for luxury but is a great deal considering the price includes a full, good breakfast in a country where food costs about double what it does anywhere else. We had a spacious room, a hugs bed, a full-size refrigerator, TV with sattelite and a private bathroom. The property is beautiful with large yards overlooking the ocean and a pool. There are fixings for tea in the room which we enjoyed while watching the sunset. The location is great as you are near both the southampton beaches and the touristy Dockyard from which you can catch a ferry to Hamilton or St. george. There is also a small, beautiful, all but deserted beach within 10 mins walk (whale bay beach). We used the bus system instead of taxis and found it safe and easy. The best part about the guest house was Mrs Greene who was incredibly friendly and helpful and makes a mean French Toast. It really made our stay in Bermuda great. We would return here anytime!

“Enjoyed my stay !”

I disagree with the terrible review given by the previous reviewer. However, each person's expectations and experience is different. I have visited Bermuda a number of times and I have enjoyed staying at the Guest Houses on the Island. I did enjoy my stay at this particular guest house - the staff was very helpful and friendly, to the point of dropping us off at nearby beaches/restaurants; the accommodations were clean and in good condition; the breakfasts were great! If you are looking for a cozy, homely atmosphere then this is the ideal guest house for your needs
