This was my first trip to Bermuda and I feel that staying at Greene's Guest House was the perfect complement to a perfect trip! Bermuda itself is amazing, however, staying at Greene's was so comfortable and easy that there was absolutely no stress involved with the entire vacation. Mrs. Greene, the proprietor, is truly a special woman and she brought so much to my experience in Bermuda. She went out of her way to be accomodating and her guest house is absolutely charming! There is a small beach just a 10 minute walk from the guest house and the main beaches are a $10 cab ride or a 10 minute bus ride away.

The only negative about staying at Greene's is that it is roughly 20 minutes outside of Hamilton (the main city in Bermuda). This turned out to be both a positive and a negative though because Greene's offered a quiet retreat from the city.

I would absolutely recommend staying here as I think it is one of the most reasonable places to stay on the island. I can't wait to go back!

Greene's Guest House has everything going for it - it's in a great location, it's extremely good value for money, the guest house itself is lovely and the owners are lovely providing a very personal service.
Greene's is located near all the best beaches inlcuding Horseshoe Bay, as well as being situated by one of the major ferry terminals.
Incase you don't know already, Bermuda is an extremely expensive place to go. Greene's recognises this and as well as being excellent value for money, they provide fridge's in the room so that you can buy and keep your own food, as well as use of their kitchen to make food. They also provide breakfast which is great. Our room was an extremely large twin room with a very good sized bathroom. The swimming pool is great and has a beautiful view.
Mr and Mrs Greene really looked after us and were wonderful throughout our stay.
I can't recommend this place highly enough!
We had friends that were staying in the Southampton Fairmont - the most expensive hotel on the island, and they wished they'd stayed at Greene's with us!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Greene's Guest House. I think the earlier reviewer with negative comments should have stayed at one of the large hotels rather than a B&B. It should be well known to her that B&Bs do generally not offer 24-hr service nor do they have large staffs to take care of every little need. We got exactly what we expected and more in terms of service at the guest house. The other reviewers are spot on with regard to Mrs. Greene. She is very nice, makes wonderful breakfast, and gave us great advice to help plan our days. She even drove some of our party to a grocery store for supplies. My cousin came over for a visit by the pool one day as he was getting married at the Reefs. Rather than wait for a bus or expensive cab, Mr. Greene drove him and his fiancé back to the Reefs. That's service that you won't find at one of the large hotels.

This was our first trip to Bermuda and will not be our last after the wonderful time we had. The island and the people are delightful and so was out stay at the Greene's Guest House. Staying at a B&B like this gives you a much more authentic experience. The breakfast absolutely amazing each morning and Mrs. Greene gave us a personal tour of Southampton upon our arrival. We love her to death and would go back simply to see her again!
