We stayed at the Fairmont Southampton in early April, and although my review is late, I feel I need to comment on the service and location. The hotel staff were all very friendly, ready and willing to show what great customer service skills they have, I was never disappointed. This was not a place I would normally select, but it was nice to see the quality of service at the Fairmont. Yes the hotel is getting old and could use some cosmetic updates, but you can still see feel the richness, in the views, the property, but especially the service. We felt very accommodated, and never felt intimidated. The location of the hotel was perfect and we are so glad we stayed in Southampton, if you enjoy walking about, this is the place to do it. We walked to the lighthouse, and on average would walk for about 7 hrs per day, discovering Southampton, as well as taking the transit/ferry to Hamilton and discovering the island. Thank you for a wonderful stay on your beautiful island.

My friend and I spent 3 nights at the Fairmont Southampton on what was a first trip to Bermuda for the both of us. We could not have been happier with our choice to stay at the Fairmont Southampton. Our room was a good size, comfortable, with a great balcony and beautiful views overlooking the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful. While we didn't make use of the spa, we did make good use of the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. We visited their restaurant, the Jasmine, a couple of times for drinks, snacks and lunch. We recommend the rum swizzle. The hotel itself is very well located for touring around the island. Having done the tour of Bermuda from west to east, we were very glad to have chosen to stay in the area we did as it was very convenient to bus routes and getting into Hamilton (the Fairmont ferry was a plus!).

All in all, a wonderful trip. I'd definitely go back and would choose the Fairmont Southampton again.

Just returned from a week at the Fairmont Southampton where I competed in the Bermuda Regional Bridge Tournament. While I didn't enjoy many of my bridge games (I lost!), I loved the hotel. I had a beautiful, large, ocean front room with comfortable beds, a great Keurig coffee maker and wonderful balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel staff were exceptional! I couldn't get my ereader to work so they connected me to their internet support centre and after much searching on-line, they were able to get my KOBO Vox working. The food in the hotel was exceptionally good and the service was outstanding! Will definitely go back but this time I'll spend more time on their beautiful golf course, their huge swimming pool and the elegant spa and less time at the bridge table!
