ok - so i guess i was expecting a little more than what this place had to offer. it was basically a run down old building in the st george area. the location was cute and you could walk into the town area, but the room/hotel itself was poor. to start - we get to the hotel and the first thing we notice was the landscaping needed to be done. no big deal, but that was the least of the issues. let's start with the bedroom.

the rooms was incredibly small - basically a full size bed and a small dresser and closet. i wasnt expecting too much room, but that was basically it. they had a tv, but it was raised on telephone books in the stand? there were 2 AC unit, but only 1 worked. no mini fridge, nothing like that at all. now let's look at the bathroom.

so how often do you have a bathrook without a mirror? what about a bathroom with ants crawling all over the place and a shower that the tub is taped to keep the drain closed? yes - look at the pics closely. there were also no hair dryers or anything along those lines.

as for the property itself, no pool, no view, no beach, no room service, they had a coffee pot and a community fridge and i believe the apples they left out were considered continental breakfast. no fitness center or anything else either.

i have seen many posts about the nice people that worked here....well, with the exception of checking in, we didn't see them at all. as for check out - hard 10:30am check out time....really?

honestly - for a few bucks more, stay at a nicer place......especially if you are travelling with a women - they will hate this place and you will regret not spedning $40 more a night. i understand "quaint", but run down and dirty are much different.

Nea's inn is a very modest cozy guesthouse in St. George. The check in process was smooth and quick. The rooms are a very good size and the tube in my room was huge. The building itself is a little dated but I wasn't expecting 21st century glass and steel accomadations. They have coffee and tea in the morning, a/c, cable and fridge in the room, as well as free wi-fi in the courtyard. The dockyard was on end of the island which made it a bit difficult to get around especially since the day I arrived the buses went on strike, but other than that everything was great, there is an Oleander's cycle rental shop right down the road on Duke of York, where you can rent scooters for the day. All in all the staff was great, the room was great and Bermuda is beautiful.

This is a very cozy historic home setting up in the hills to the St. Georges Peninsula. There is a golf course within walking distance and a town a few blocks down the high hill it sites on. There is a spectacular view of the bay area and trasportation to any major city just 4 minutes walk away. The rooms are all rupgraded with marble and tubs and showers, hard wood floors, all accessories of home with mini kitchen mcrowaves, free coffee and tea and living. There is free wi-fi.

“No No No...don't do it!”

We had ants in our bed....need I say more? The sheets were clean but there were ants crawling all over the beds, all night! The owner is a very nice man but the inn is in dire need of repair. There was a hole in the wall in the shower stall. There was no water pressure. No breakfast. The entire inn is damp and needs to be aired out. Please don't waste your time or $$$ on this inn. We stayed one night because it was almost midnight by the time we got there. But, we were gone the next day, finding other accomodations. I was hesitant all along about booking this inn. Do yourself a favor and find another place.

Very calm environment, I was relaxed the moment I arrived!!!
Walking to the beach or to restaurants was safe and relatively easy. The Bremudian people are warm and extremely helpful!!
Bring your own snorkeling gear, Tobacco bay is perfect for beginners.
Don't forget to try a dark and stormy before you leave!!!!
