“No No No...don't do it!”

We had ants in our bed....need I say more? The sheets were clean but there were ants crawling all over the beds, all night! The owner is a very nice man but the inn is in dire need of repair. There was a hole in the wall in the shower stall. There was no water pressure. No breakfast. The entire inn is damp and needs to be aired out. Please don't waste your time or $$$ on this inn. We stayed one night because it was almost midnight by the time we got there. But, we were gone the next day, finding other accomodations. I was hesitant all along about booking this inn. Do yourself a favor and find another place.

Very calm environment, I was relaxed the moment I arrived!!!
Walking to the beach or to restaurants was safe and relatively easy. The Bremudian people are warm and extremely helpful!!
Bring your own snorkeling gear, Tobacco bay is perfect for beginners.
Don't forget to try a dark and stormy before you leave!!!!

From the prearranged ride from the airport to the wonderful greeting and service we received upon arrival our family was very pleased with 1 Neas alley and Aunt Neas Inn's style, quality and value. The Harbor View house redone by the "this old house" guys Norm Abraham's and crew was amazing!!
Our room was comfy with a nice fan , closet, TV and cable with excellent internet that allowed me to Skype back to the Mainland for hours at a time for meetings ( somewhat unfortunate but had to do the business :-)
The Proprietor is an amazing man and if you are lucky enough to meet him you will get a historical view of the island unparallelled by any tour guide.
The views from the Inn porches are wonderful and the breezes and comfort of the porches are marvelous!
The best part for us is that 1 Neas Alley (Aunt Neas Inn) is about half way between Tobacco bay and downtown St Georges. Up the hill and you are at Tobacco bay..the most beautiful snorkeling and just a short walk to St Katherine's Fort with a great bar, Blackbeard's Hideout at Achilles bay with really cute waitresses and great drinks. The Kite fair was a blast when we were there
You can get a ride back from a cab was only two bucks..the best deal on the island.
Everything is within walking distance, pubs, beaches, grocery stores and magnificent views
Highly recommended for a real Bermuda experience. No resort BS here. Its the Islands Man relax!

“Low key & great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 June 2011

It depends on what you are looking for, but if that includes a historic house, a clean room, a key to the place to let yourself in 24hrs, very friendly staff who know everything about the island, and a low key environment, this is the place to be. As per other reviews, the place needs some TLC and breakfast isn’t worth mentioning, but my room was spotless and the location perfect. It’s close to both the bus and ferry service, which will get you anywhere in Bermuda.

“Ok for one night only”

My husband and I needed a place to stay for a late night arrival into Bermuda and Aunt Nea's provided us with the "relatively" low cost and close proximity to harbor area in St. Georges.

Upon arrival at around 9 p.m., we found that our room key/directions were in the mailbox outside. Note---after 2 p.m. the front desk and front door are closed, so all guests need to have their key.
The room was clean and tidy..the only drawback was that no hot water was available that evening and in the morning.
