My husband and I spent three nights in November at North Beach. If you are looking for Paradise, as Adam and Eve, may have known it, just go there. It is not a palace, so if you are looking for five star resort, it's not the place. If you wish to relax, have a very personal relationship with the owner, Ruben, eat wonderful and fresh lobsters, and just enjoy the sand and sea breeze with very few other guests, this is the place.

Wanted to visit this island for my birthday this August 2011. Tried and tried to contact the owner both on the island and on his cell phone. Left message upon message for at least a week to no avail. Never recieved at least a call back. Luckily enjoyed a gorgeous birthday vacation on Palm Island instead.... I think this Island is for repeat guests only. Too bad...looks like a nice place.

This was my fourth trip to North Beach Barbuda, staying over, plus another six or so day trips. This is the ultimate place to really chill out and relax. Four very quaint cottages, on a wonderful stretch of beach only accesible by boat. Wonderful hosts, Rueben and Simone, lots of lobster and fresh fish to eat. I love the help yourself attitude to drinks and snacks, or even cooking in my case. Plus they now have their own web site too. Well worth checking it out.

My wife and I stayed at North Beach, Barbuda for her 40th Birthday. It was amazing! The location is absolutely beautiful. We sailed, swam, fished, read lots of books, and explored the north end of the island. Mr. Ruben James is an excellent host and inredible chef! This is a great place to stay if you really want to get away from it all!
