in short, this was our third year traveling with 2 other couples.we decided to go to barbuda, a breathtaking beautiful island 20 miles off antigua. We stayed in a 4-bedroom beach house, 50 yards from the pink beaches of the resort known as coco pont. The hospitality and service from the coco point staff was above proffesional .Our breakfast was brought and served to us at our house every morning. We weren"t done being spoiled because after playing tennis, skit shooting, deep sea fishing, water skiing, snorkling, tubing, bird watching.booze cruising etc, etc, we walked under the barbudian stars along the turquoise ocean to the coco point lodge to eat dinner prepared by a 5 star chef.On our way home,we all said this was by far our best trip and we plan to rebook. Just a side note, my wife still has not unpacked her suit case from march!!

“Best Vacation”

My wife Virginia and I visited Coco Point Lodge on Barbuda for the first time in April. It will not be our last visit. In fact we now intend on making a trip to Barbuda each year. Between the two of us, we have been to most islands in the Caribbean. There are simply no places that compare to Barbuda, and especially the resort at Coco Point Lodge.

This resort seems to be the annual destination for several families lucky enough to have discovered Barbuda along the way. We intend to join this group. The Lodge has comfortable, clean rooms. The dining room serves three delicious meals a day- some of which you may have boated yourself-as was the barracuda my wife caught. The beach is longer than any I can think of anywhere, great for walking. And the ocean, protected by reefs on three sides, is calm for swimming, sailing, water skiing or sleeping on the anchored rafts.

What really separates Coco Point from other Caribbean resorts is the approach of current Management, which seems to be a continuation of the philosophy of founder, William Kelly. This is a place where friendly, nice people come to relax in the most beautiful setting. The staff is genuine in its desire to make your visit comfortable. Activities are not scheduled, but occur on your time table. Boats are made available for personal reef or deep sea fishing trips. Water skiing boats wait until you are ready to use them.

Coco Point Lodge is the best because it has the perfect location combined with the wonderful, comfortable attitude of its people-both those that compose the staff, and those that make it their vacation.

We stayed at Coco Point after a week in Antigua.I will never go back to Antigua again after being on a real tropical Island. One of the best beaches I have ever seen.Very quite some days we only counted a handful of people on the beach. The staff was all great.Very polite and helpfull. The meals at the restaurant was very comparable to the best restaurants on Antigua. The food and service was fantastic. The only negative comment I have is how many months in advance you need to make a reservation since Coco Point is booked solid. We have been to many great resorts in the Carribean Coco Point is one of our favourites.

“Best, most relaxing vacation of our lives!”

A few weeks ago, we returned from our fourth annual trip to Coco Point Lodge on Barbuda. To say that it is the most relaxing, beautiful and enjoyable place we have ever visited is an understatement.

Our children, ages five and seven, are in heaven at Coco Point, which is incredibly kid-friendly. They run around on the pristine, gorgeous beach to their heart’s content and are able to swim freely in the water, which is protected from dangerous surf. The resort is extremely accommodating to children and prepares food that they like to eat. It also offers a wide array of fun water activities from water-skiing and tubing to fishing and snorkeling (all equipment is provided). Coco Point also offers two tennis courts, skeet shooting and deep-sea fishing.

Every room/villa is directly on the beach and the accommodations are kept spotless. The guest rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable, bright, and cheerful. The food is world-class and the menu changes daily and features fresh, locally caught seafood (fish, soft shell crab, lobster, etc.). We appreciated that Coco Point arranged for a wonderful, professional babysitter to be with our children each evening, so that we could dine at the lodge with our friends.

Coco Point is also a great place to escape for those in search of total relaxation. There are no television sets or telephones in the rooms (some cellular phones do operate and there is wireless internet in the main lodge). Everything was taken care of for us— from the moment we landed at the Antigua airport where we were greeted by a Coco Point representative. From there we were escorted to Coco Point’s private plane which took us on the 10 minute flight to resort’s own landing strip adjacent to the property. Everything was included in the one price we paid (lodging, food, alcohol, tips and activities---even our personal laundry!), so we never have to touch our wallets the entire time we were at the resort.

For us, returning to Coco Point is like going home each year. The extraordinarily friendly, warm and professional staff never fails to remember us and greet us with big hugs upon our arrival. Not surprisingly, many of the staff members have worked at Coco Point for decades because the resort is extremely well managed, maintained and operated.

We plan on returning to Coco Point on an annual basis every year, as it has become a very important tradition for our family.

Dear Trip Advisor,
I had the most fabulous vacation at Coco Point on Barbuda- probably one of the best I've ever had. From the attached pictures you can see that our group tried everything from deepsea fishing, windsurfing, waterskiing to swimming and lazily soaking in the sun.
It was all there for us to experience. The beaches were perfect for endless, peaceful walks and moonlit strolls.
The accomodations were quite lovely and private. The food was top notch. I was amazed at the variety of fresh meats, fish and produce offered with a smile at every meal. Then there were the desserts! What can I say but divine! Go ready to dine overlooking the tranquil sea with the sound of a gentle surf. A friendly gathering before dinner gives vacationers a chance to meet and mingle. A perfect way to begin another carefree evening. Don't miss the legendary Sunday morning Sunfish Regatta. The competition ends with champagne!!!
An "all inclusive" vacation turns out to be so easy and carefree. That's what it's all about! I'm looking forward to returning again to my new Carribean favorite!
