This was a very special holiday. Yes, the accommodation and furnishings are a a bit past their best, but, do you know, it does not matter one bit. The beaches are spectacular, the climate wonderful, and the sense of relaxation created by the staff just superb. The staff are like nowhere else we have experienced in the Caribbean. Service is attentive and friendly, with no sign of the sloppiness you can so easily experience elsewhere.
The food is excellent with plenty of choice, and top quality ingredients -- just make sure you come off your diet whilst there.
The water sports are good, and the sheltered bay ideal for swimming. The deep sea fishing is an adventure, but the atlantic is not for those with a delicate constitution.
But, best of all, the social atmosphere is amazing. We have never mixed so thoroughly with fellow guests, and what an interesting mix they were.
