“Of course we came back”

We stayed at the boardwalk half a year ago and we were greatly suprised. What `a little oasis` we had found. We had the best time. Of course there are always a few points of approval, but we had the best time ever so far on Aruba.
Just as last time me and my girlfriend had something to celebrate and we treated ourselves on another Boardwalk ´relaxation´ stay.
I dont wan´t to exaggerate, but it was even better then the first time. i think they did an overhaul of some kind. Everything looked even better and newer. We had an upstairs casita which added to the fun because you have a total different view and hardly any mosquitos..
If you are a free minded spirit, you like nature and an relaxing environment. Boadwalk is the way to go! Keep it up girls!

Room Tip: if available choose an upstairs casita....

“Feel at home in Aruba!”

Life is good at The Boardwalk in Aruba! Waking up, 2 min. walk to the beach, having a nice morning swim and having your breakfast at the patio enjoying the quiet - surrounded by Aruba's most greenest garden - is just what you need to start the day! The 2 beautiful owners/twin-sisters make everything possible: there's nothing that can not be arranged! They know where you need to be and give the right tips for each mood your are in! Don't forget to say hallo to the cutest dog, Lola! It's just the perfect place to stay in Aruba: a very warm, relax, easy-going atmosphere where you just enjoy life!

“Ready to Return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We just returned from a week at the Boardwalk in Palm Beach, Aruba. The Boardwalk was the perfect place to stay for us. Walk to the Beach, Moomba Beach Bar..fun place, close to shopping and many great restaurants....Being able to sit in the mornings and drink my coffee and read with only the sounds of the breeze in the palm trees and the birds singing was the best way to start a day.The Owners (Kimberly and Stephanie) and Manager, Janine were very welcoming and helpful. We were there for their 1st Happy Hour and it was a great success and a chance to meet other guests. There are plans for renovations in the future for the Boardwalk, which will make it better then it already is...
Thank you.............

“Tranquility amidst boisterous kitsch”

This well may be the only tasteful, quiet, 'natural' hotel on an otherwise hideous, tacky island. Set in a lovely garden with spacious 'casitas' that have kitchen facilities, it is very well managed by two accommodating sisters who took it over only eight months ago. It's close to the high-rise strip (which to our thinking is no advantage), so if you crave for Pizza Hut, McDonalds, endless kiosks of crap, casinos, etc., they are nearby. And so is the beach (NB there is no view of the sea from the Boardwalk). This is the choice if you enjoy watching beautiful palms swaying in the ever-present wind, stroking two endearing cats, and appreciate peace.

“Intimate, friendly, beautiful hotel in paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

We spent six nights at The Boardwalk in May, 2011. We have visited many islands in the Caribbean but have never made it to Aruba before. Their motto is "One Happy Island" and I have to concur completely. The people are more friendly in Aruba than on any of the dozen or so islands I have visited. Due to the fact that there are only 13 rooms, you will sometimes think you are there alone. The front office staff was among the best I have encountered. I have a service dog, which they accommodated with joy, but we were concerned about local hotels given that every country has their own laws about such animals. They called four or five local restaurants to inquire about whether we could eat there with our service dog. All said yes, no problem. The rooms were being renovated while we were there and I imagine that they are quite gorgeous now. We loved having our own full kitchen, dining area, living room and bedroom so if one of us wanted a nap, there was no disturbing the other. The grounds are landscaped beautifully with abundant tiny lizards and frogs! Safety was primary to the hotel. At 9:00 p.m. the front gates were closed and a guard was on duty. The guard even accepted a pizza delivery for us one night! We were given great advice about scuba diving, local sites to visit and restaurants. It was a great pleasure to stay at The Boardwalk.
