We just returned from a week at the Aruba Westin. The resort was wonderful! We stayed in room 800 which was a water front room with a beautiful view. The room was spacious and very clean. Mercades did a wonderful job of making sure the room was perfect! The staff was very customer service oriented, they were consistently friendly, helpful and professional. The beach was beautiful as well as the pool. The challenge each morning was to get a "hut" on the beach without paying for advance reservations. We were able to accomplish this everyday by being in line by 715am for the 8am opening. The happy hours were great and the bar staff very friendly especially Connell and Zonia. We can't wait to return next year! We are so happy we chose the Westin, great location and fabulous staff!

Steps from the hotel is a lovely white white sand beach with the inviting blue Aruba water beckoning for you to come in. The rooms are comfortable and what you'd expect at a Westin hotel- nice bed and linens and clean finishes. The hotel building is a little bit shabby on the outside for a Westin, but the location, near the end of the beach is quieter than some of the other resorts. You can easily walk to town where you'll find a variety of restaurants to choose from. There are fine dining choices along with some more affordable low key choices. We didn't need a car for our stay since the beach and restaurants were all an easy walk. There is also a nice boardwalk from the Westin (beachside sidewalk) that runs the length of the beach which is great for evening strolls and morning jogs. We stayed 5 days and felt that was long enough to get in beach time and relaxing. There wasn't too much to do there besides that. We decided against watersports after observing the operators of the boats and the apparent lax Aruban view of regulations (tubing had one driver and no spotter which posed a hazard as the boat weaved in and out among many obstacles) Use your best judgement on that. I'd say it's a great spot to get away to in the middle of a cold winter, but unless you like gambling doesn't offer to many entertainment options.

Never have we stayed at a hotel where the service all the way from the top (Richard Roy-manager ) and EVERY staff member gave 110%! Check-in a breeze , bought room off Hotwire and upgraded to ocean view . The bell man Happy John awesome . We received a complimentary fruit and cheese plate and bottle of wine from the manager . The bartenders by the pool efficient and courteous . Property clean , restaurants and stores amazing . I highly reccomend this property ! we will definitely be back !

Stayed at the Westin Aruba which is located on the Hotel Strip. We had the all-inclusive package and I have to say save your money. If you want an All - Inclusive deal go to an All- Inclusive hotel. You only get 1 breakfast, 1lunch and 1dinner with the plan and all drinks are included (the only good part). And it wasnt cheap. But overall, if you are not looking for All-Inclusive, clean hotel, nice staff and great location.
