The Playa Linda gave us a great escape. Traveling with an infant, they were able to make all of our requests and provide very nice amenities. The crib was brand new as was the high-chair. Even the cleaning staff was impeccable, even washing some of our bottles when we did not get to all of them...very thorough.
The beach at the Playa Linda is fantastic and has plenty of chickie's - but be sure to get up very very early to claim a good one...like 5-5.30 AM or you'll be stuck with the leftovers. The pool is very nice as well but on the smaller side, which didn't seem to be a big issue while we were there, but if they are at capacity I could see it being on the small side.
The location for dining is excellent as it provides a lot of choices within walking distance. Unfortunately many of these choices cater to the mass-market Americans, so you do have to search around a bit to find something good. Gianni's is excellent and within walking distance as is the Chalet Suisse, however it is a short taxi/drive. The local bus to town will also stop right out front which makes it easy to head into town for some better shopping.
The hotel did not have free WiFi or a free business center, so staying connected would be difficult.
I'd stay here again and recommend this to other travelers and especially those with small children.
