“Great Family Trip”

I was pleasantly surprised at the Radisson Aruba. Booked a bit late so couldn't get into the Hyatt. Radisson was the next best according to a friend. Everything happens for a reason! I was much happier at the Radisson. Don't get me wrong, we ate a few lunches at the Hyatt (just 3 hotels down) but the Radisson beach was so much bigger and you could reserve Palapalas in advance for only $25 which is a great deal. We are a family of 6-they had 8 towels, 6 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs and a small table set up for us every morning. Great service! If you don't want to pay the $25, you can get one for free at 4:00pm for the next day. We opted to pay because the quiet end of the beach wasn't available. Small downside is the left end of the beach is next to a public access so that was crowded.

casino was sufficient, not fancy but definately enough. Food was good at beach restaurant and service was great. Great 2 for 1 happy hour. Prices for drinks were very resonable. I hate to pay $8 for a virgin daquiri for my kids-here was only $4. I think thats pretty good.

Rooms recently renovated. Beautiful with comfy beds, great cotton sheets and down comforters. I hate a "bedspread"!

Lots to do on the beach. Will definately come back to Aruba.

Room Tip: We stayed in the taller towe-I think all beach front rooms. I would request above 5th floor

This was our fourth trip to Aruba and to the Radisson. The gorgeous grounds are only surpassed by the exceptional service which begins from the bell staff, front desk, housekeeping and is rounded out by the beach crew. No does not seem to be in the vocabulary of any employee. Even the bartenders will know you by name. The recent renovations to all the rooms are just a bonus. The widest beaches on hotel row and close to most restaurants as well water sports. Very family friendly. There is nothing missing and woud not consider any other property!

“FABULOUS!!!”

We have been going to Aruba for the past 10 years. First few years we stayed at the marriott, which was nice, then we heard the Radsson was very nice. So for the Past 7 years we have been faithfully staying at the Radisson. We LOVE the location, grounds, and the AMAZING staff! The whole entire Radisson staff are wonderul, especially the bellmen...who always say...'WELCOME HOME" when we arrive.
Most of the shops and restaurants are right across the street from the Radisson. No Taxi's necessary.....you can just walk!
Gianni's Restaurant is directly across the street and a must. Madame Janette's is the best restaurant on the island, but you do need to take a taxi to get there.
The rooms are always spotless. They use the sleep number mattress's, so the beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and a great way to start the day.
We'll be going back February 10, and we CANNOT WAIT!
No complaints from the pennsylvania girls!

Room Tip: We loved the Bonaire tower, because it was close to the beach, pool, breakfast buffet...and Martini...

Dear Values Guest~
Thank you for your recnt stay and a great TA report!
I am please to let you know that we are in the process of adding WiFi in all of our guest rooms. This should be done by March 2012. In the meantime we do have cat-5 with a bandwidth of more than 10 complimentary in every guest room and WiFi in our public spaces.

“Perfect vacation spot for the whole family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We took our first trip to Aruba with our entire family (11 adults, 5 kids between the ages of 9 months and 4 years) over the holidays and stayed at the Radisson - I can't imagine a better vacation spot, especially with a group this size. The zero-entry pools were perfect for the kids, and the ability to reserve an umbrella and chairs the night before was fantastic - we've been doing the 5 AM wakeup call to save pool space in Hawaii for years - this was such a nice change. The restaurants were so kid-friendly - great, yummy kids menu options and the staff couldn't have been more accomodating. Gilligans especially is great for watching the sunset over the beach in a low-key setting. Food portions in general are huge - we got in the habit quickly of ordering from the kids menu for room service! The happy hours kept all of the adults in our party very happy, and on Tuesdays, a managers happy hour is hosted, and the drinks are free. What??? I didn't know that free drinks existed in this day and age. We were initially in the Curacao tower - then moved to the Aruba tower. The rooms in the Aruba tower were literally twice as big as the Curacao - something to keep in mind if you are traveling with small children - the extra space was so nice. Location is great - walking distance to everything you need. And the spa is pricey but very nice. The only downside, as mentioned by other reviewers, is the lack of wifi in the rooms - free wifi in the lobby, though, and it was actually quite nice to take a technology break for a change. Overall, excellent resort for the whole family - we will definitely return!

Room Tip: Aruba tower rooms are much larger than Caracao tower rooms!

“Well rounded resort....”

Been going to Aruba the last 20 years have stayed at many of the resort on Palm Beach and Eagle Beach. The Radisson is as close to the whole package as you can get. The pros.. a great beach, you dont feel like you are top of everyone like you do at the Marriott. Also, the fact that I don't have to get up at 5am to get a hut is a huge plus that they sign up the day before in the afternoon. At happy hour a few of the nights they had a great band playing so it made the atmosphere really nice. Location is great, being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops without having to get a taxi is nice. Only a few minor cons which would be all three sections are set back from the beach.. so unlike some other hotels where oceanfront is really oceanfront.. The casino needs updating and there is no players club to earn point for play. Also, they do not have wifi in the room.. Our room in the Aruba tower did have a wired hookup but it did not work, calls to the front desk 3 times and 3 times were told they were sending someone up and no one ever came. Not really a big deal at all just went to the lobby to check email but it was a bit of pain.. But, overall a nice hotel, great location, great beach and looking forward going to back and the end of January again.

Dear Valued Guest-

My name is Rob Smith and I am the General Manager of the Resort. Thank you very much for your recent stay with us and a great TA report. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

As for the Casino, we just finished installing all new slot machines as well as refurbishing the space. During this process we purchased a state of the art player tracking system that is set to go live tomorrow so we will be competitive with reward programs soon!

We currently have cat-5 internet in all of our guest rooms and wifi in our public space. We provide this service free unlike many of our competitors that charge. We will be adding wifi in our guest rooms as well sometime in the next 90 days, by April at the latest.

Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you back soon.
