We have stayed at Tam now twice, and on our 3rd, planning to visit! We fell in love with their island, rooms, all facing the ocean, just feet away, employees were awesome, food great, and kept very clean! The island is small, so renting a Jeep is a must!!! Very safe, even though they have gotten a bad rap! Never felt afraid one bit! Thank you for our place to daydream about, while we survive the cold midwestern winters Tam!!

Room Tip: Any room is a good room, as every room faces the ocean.

“Loved it!”

I've just got back from a 7 night stay at the Tamrijn in Aruba and it was superb! The food was delicious, the service was great, the people were friendly and the accomodations were comfortable and clean.
The rooms are right on the water which allowed for optimal sun time because it wasn't a chore to get packed and go. If you had 20 minutes to spare you just walk out your door and grab a lounger. No packing, planning or beach bag required.
There was no lack of nightly entertainment and I found all the shows to be enjoyable. There is also enough room to accomodate everyone so there is no fighting for a place to sit and you're not afraid of losing your seat if you get up to go to the washroom or for a drink.
Aside from the one dinner when we received poor service, I have absolutely no complaints about my stay at the Tamarijn and would go back in a heart beat.

Room Tip: our room was towards the far southwest end of the resort. it was far enough away from the main area...

“Great stay, a couple of issues.”

We stayed at the Tam and had a ground floor room at the 1200 bldg. This was much better than the 2100 room we had last year. The location was the best, very nice beach, not too far but far enough from the pool. Next time I will bring a brush to sweep my sandy feet when I enter my patio. The Tam is in the process of renovating the rooms and this year there was plenty of new bikes to ride so I can see improvements under way which is a good thing. We had a great stay but there are a few things the Tam can change to make us feel a little better about spending good money.

The positives are:
1. Location, you cannot beat the beaches-I have been told they are some of the best on Aruba. Plenty of room, you never feel crowded.

2. Staff, The busy bartenders were friendly enough but staff at Tutis were especially friendly and accommodating.

3. Food is very subjective so I will say average food but the Tuti(sp?) Bar has very good Pizza, Fries and sandwiches.

4. Lots of activities-wind surf(I tried), Snorkeling, Kyak, Vollyball, Bike riding and games like bingo.

The pains in the butt:

1. Safes-a charge of $2(I think) a day-cmon we paid very good money for this place. And could you put the safes in a place that you don't break your back every time you go in it. They are under the sink in the bathroom-Inside the closet at eye level would be nice.

2. Internet-Again we pay enough why nickel and dime us for the internet usage.

3. Towels do you really think we will try to rip off your towels. Just leave 2 towels a day in our room and pick up the old ones. Drop the towel key method.

“Great location, good enough resort”

This was our second trip to the Tam so we knew what to expect although it has been 6 years and the property is showing its age. We did notice that they are working on renovating the rooms starting at one end of the property and moving along one building at a time. The air conditioner in our room started to give up on our 2nd night there and it was so noisy that it made it hard to sleep, but hey, things happen to mechanical equipment and when I let them know the next morning a new unit was installed within an hour so kudos to the staff for their quick response. On the last night of our trip we got torrential rain and it was pouring into the room at a pretty quick pace by the time we got up in the morning, not the end of the world, we threw some towels on it and started packing up for the flight home. None of this really affected our trip, the room location was fabulous and the beaches…..its Aruba, they are perfect and as with all vacations you can either have fun and enjoy it or let the little things ruin it so we never sweat the little things. As always the staff at the Tam was friendly and the overall service was good. The food is very good and there are plenty of choices. If you are going to try and compare this place to some of the luxury all inclusive (Sandals, Riu, etc.) then don’t bother going here, it’s not that kind of place, but for overall value, perfect location and good staff you will be happy enough here.

Well I have been back home now for a week from Aruba and miss Aruba all ready. My husband and I stayed at the Tamarijn All Inclusive. I searched for weeks prior to making my decission on what hotel I was going to stay at. I'm glad I picked the Tamarijn. The staff were very friendly and the service was amazing. The property was extremely clean. The food was pretty good. I had blook 1100 on the second floor is was the prefect spot it was between the Tamarijn and the sister the Divi. The room was a good size and clean it had plenty of storage for clothes. The view was to die for. You open the patio door and see white sand and clear water just like in the commercials. I have been to alot of different countries and different hotels. I have to honesty say the Tamarijn was a geat choice. So if your thinking about going to Aruba and want the view of the most beautiful beach 24 hours a day, then stay at the Tamarijn. The sunsets are amazing to watch There are only 3 things I can say that can be inprove on #1 The food at the buffet can be hotter, #2 A coffee pot in the room, #3 There is a need for a couple of public washrooms that need to be renovated. I met people that have been going to the Tamarijn time and time again and we will be to. Iwill post photos later.
