“A delightful and comfortable stay and excellent value for money”

We visit Antigua every year but wanted somewhere to stay near St Johns before going on to Montserrat. We checked out the reviews and nearly didn't book because of 1 or 2 dreadful ones (although all the other reviews are very positive).
What we have found is a truly honest, safe and secure, excellent-for-value gem close to the capital, and we wish we were staying longer! The staff have all been more than helpful, the room spotlessly clean, the bed exceptionally large and comfortable and the continental breakfasts that we elected to have, wholesome, fresh and very tasty.
We travel a lot in the Caribbean and we wish that all the places we have encountered would come up to the traditional Caribbean atmosphere and high standards that the Anchorage Inn sets. The hotel is quieter than the management would like but we will definitely be returning! We booked directly with the hotel. Truly excellent value for money - we can not recommend it highly enough.

“"Lyn....no regrets, a comfortable, affordable and memorable vacation"”

We have no regrets for staying at the Anchorage Inn in Antigua. It is affordable, comfortable, clean, tranquil and a quiet family owned hotel which made our vacation a most memorable one. The building, decor and environment continue to maintain the history of the island and exudes a tropical feeling. The Anchorage Inn is idealy located within walking distance from the beach, deli/supermarket, just outside the main town of St Johns and close to the airport. The staff is very helpful and cordial. These qualities made us feel welcome. They enquired regularly about our well being and were always prepared to do all in their powers to make us comfortable and happy. If you want to experience a dream vacation, one that is comfortable, affordable and memorable then we suggest you stay at the Anchorage Inn.

Room Tip: "Room overlooking the pool"

“Paradise found....and at the right price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2011

The Anchorage Inn was a delightful place to stay, ours was a last minute decision to vacation and we had to stick to our budget.
The staff couldnt have been more accomodating, nothing was too much trouble, it was quiet and peaceful, the food was good, bar well stocked and located close to all amenities and beaches and the golf course which my Husband was thrilled about ( I am not a golfer and the beach with my children is my way of relaxing)....being close to both was very convenient we were able to hook up for various meals together.
The ambiance at the hotel was wonderfully Caribbean, made me feel I was really on a tropical island far away from my normal cold miserable hometown....we will definately stay there if we go back to Antigua . The rooms are clean and well serviced, the price is right and it was great value for money.Would reccomend it to everyone.

Room Tip: book early, call and explain your needs so as to get exactly what you want.
