“A little bit of paradise”

Arriving in Cocos Hotel in Antigua was just perfect. We spent a week here for our mini-moon and were delighted with Cocos. Our cottage over looked the pool and beach, and was just a 1 minute walk from the bar and restaurant. We chose to go all-inclusive, which does include drinks so is very good value. The main beach is lovely, altho it's definitely worth the short walk to the beach on the other side of the resort, even quieter and more secluded. We hired a car for 2 days which i'd really recommend to see the island too. And the little harbour the other side of the Jolly Beach resort is good for a bite to eat for a change of scenery over lunch. Cocos is a lovely, peaceful resort, great for relaxing and soaking up the sun.

“Cocos Hotel - Home away from home”

A GREAT vacation. After 20hrs travel a shower under the stars in the outdoors restored my belief in the human race. We had a plain Standard Cottage #8, but the new AC was a pleasant surprise! No mosquitos nor sand bugs in January. Pleasant 23-27C.
Food is great. At breakfast, lunch and dinner it's always à la carte: you order what pleases you! No normal all-inclusive buffets, but personal service and food.
Staff is WONDERFUL. Especially Carl at dinners, Terry-Ann and Jennifer at reception and Tiffany serving bfst-lunch-dinner deserve an applause.
If you want to get away, enjoy the Carribean, enjoy a great beach and a great hotel Cocos is it and the Jolly Beach. Marvellouse day at sea on Wadadli Cats catamaran directly from Jolly Beach!

“Fantastic!”

We stayed in a Premium Plus cottage which was fantastic. Briliant location with superb sea views & air-con. We found the food in the restaurant to be excellent and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Quite a steep walk up to the cottage but this wasn't a problem for us.

“Fabulous for lunch”

We were not staying at this hotel but had visited the beach. At lunch time we decided to see if we could get anything to eat at this hotels restaurant. They were very busy and not taking any more visitor bookings however as we were there they very kindly found a superb table overlooking the sea. We had a lovely lunch here including starters mains sweets plus drinks all for 70US dollars for three of us. The coconut pudding was divine !! Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Certainly would recommend stopping here for lunch if you are on Jolly Beach at the Valley Church end. ENJOY

“Amazing location, Amazing food, Amazing staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

We stayed at the hotel from 29/12/11 - 11/01/2012.

Sadly on arrical we were first given a room which was supposed to have an ocean view but was blocked by palms trees. The staff ensured that this was rectified the next day although the reservations lady could have been more helpful on the night.

Our cottage No.24 had the most amazing views ever. We were not over looked in anyway and enjoyed the outdoor showers. Sitting on the blocony with a drink watching the sun set listening to the waves below could not have been more perfect.

Tyrone and Jennifer really made our stay. Firstly Tyrone who is not only the deputy manager but head chef is super talented when it comes to food and also ensuring guests have all requests met. I work with many high profile chefs and thought that the food would be OK but in all honesty it over exceeded our expectations in everyday. Every meal was superb and talking about a perfect setting to eat.

Jennifer who worked on reception could not have done anything else to make our stay more perfect. So helpful and willing to make our stay fantastic. We booked all of our trips through Jennifer and they all went perfectly.
Also special thanks to Carl, TeriAnne, Launette, Philip and Anotnio for their professionalism and smiles each day.

If I had to comment on making things more comfortable it would be to have a 24 hour reception, telephones in the cottages, better security during the night, stronger air con and possibly iPod docking stations in the rooms,

We will be back soon
Lexi & Georges xx

Room Tip: No 24 was stunning so long as you don't mind the 40 steps down to the cottage.
