Spent two weeks here with my partner in 2006. It was not what we expected and we were dissapointed at first. The food was the same night after night and the rooms where not the best but after we excepted that it was probably what made the holiday and the fact it is closed now means we won't bother to return to Antigua.
The staff were very friedly during our stay. The food was nice despite similar menus each night. Although they happily rustled up sandwiches when we missed meal times. The bar which was included was great and we lost count of how many rum cocktails we got through. The resort is small yet there were 10 other guests at most during the stay which made it feel very romantic, dinning alone quite often and having the beach/pools to ourselves.
We did at one point check out but on finding the alternative hotel was dire (no tv's in room or air con) we returned and really enjoyed ourselves.
