This was a very nice hotel. It was clean, the people were nice, but I was woken up a few times at night from people running around outside.
I stayed at 3 different places while visiting the island during my week long stay. This was my second place, for two nights. I upgraded to a second level room for a small fee, and it was worth every cent. The view is pretty nice. The checkin was smooth, and when shown the room, it was very very nice. It is one of the cheapest places to stay on the island without question, and for the money, it is a steal for what you get. It is a long way (175 yards) from the beach. The beach is not worth visiting compared to all the others, very small and not that nice. The room was super clean, furniture looked brand new, and came with microwave, fridge, and gas stove/oven, which I put to use. The deck area was very clean and breezy, well taken care of. Everything about the place was exceptional for the price. Now, here's the negatives I experienced, none of which are the hotels faults or control. DOGS and more DOGS barking all night long, which was simply very annoying. Seems nobody cares if dogs bark all night long. The hotel is also close to the ferry landing, where major dock construction is going on all day till about 8pm. It gets very noisy to say the least. I used the hotel as a base to do a lot of exploring of the island. It is not a one stop resort place...it is a inexpensive and wonderful place to stay while exploring or enjoying other parts of the island.
