“Comforts of home in Paradise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2010

We arrived to Anguilla by Ferry and recognized Patsy's from the website, so we walked the 3 minutes down the road with our bags. Little did we know, they were waiting for us to pick us up by car. Once we arrived in our room, we enjoyed bread and cheese, juice an water which was provided by the Villa. Very spacious living area for two people. A King size bed, dining room table, tv with cable, and patio with views of St. Maarten. Big Jim's down the road was a convenient spot for a bite to eat. Great chicken.

Only thing I would mention is the lock on our door did not work properly and there was no safe for our belongings....we had to be creative. Other than that...No complaints.

“Great place to stay, absolutely recommended!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2010

My husband, 12 year old son and I stayed at one of the ground floor 2BR apartments for 5 nights April 2010. The apartment was large. Each bedroom consisted of a queen sized bed, dresser and night table. The bathroom was a good size with a bath/shower combo. The kitchen had a stove, fridge, sink, toaster, cutlery, dishes pots and pans. The living room/dining room was amply sized. The deck doors in the living room opened onto a deck area with a table and chairs; two steps down and you are on the beach!

The apartments are walking distance from the ferry terminal but we rented a jeep from Bryan's for a good price. There is space to park at the apartment complex and all beaches are near if driving. There is free wifi however it was not accessible from our apartment (I had to sit by the office which was nearby). Guests are provided with a prepaid cellphone for the duration of the stay.

What was especially nice about our stay was the lovely staff at the hotel. Marjorie and her husband (the owners) and their daughter and the rest of the family were so kind and helpful, even assisting us in retrieving our lost luggage from the airline. We were greeted at the ferry terminal. They also left some bread and juice in the fridge for us upon arrival. On our last night they prepared quite a feast by the beach, we ate so well!

I cannot wait to return to this truly wonderful place. I honestly have nothing but positive words to say. Excellent value for a great vacation destination!

“This place is fabulous!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2010

What can I say about Marjorie and Mitchell Connor who own and operate Patsy's Seaside Villas? They are wonderful, as is their hotel/apartments. We stayed for 8 nights in one of the apartments and couldn't have asked for more. Because we came in the low season last week Marjorie upgraded us at no cost to the two bedroom villa upstairs with a fabulous view of St. Maarten. She is the nicest woman and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, including a cell phone for our use in case we needed anything. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed and we also had daily maid service (except Sunday). Everything was clean and neat at all times. We found that this is the first island we've visited that we will definitely return to someday and we will definitely stay with Marjorie. For the money this was a great value. I would highly recommend you rent a vehicle for your stay as there are so many lovely beaches to explore. I would also recommend a trip on Chocolate to Prickley Pear Island. The food was great on the island and included in the price of the boat trip. We also used West Shoal Bay Dive shop to arrange a snorkel trip for us as well, it costing $55 each. It was a shorter trip but teh snorkeling was great. We even snorkeled with a sea turtle. The 33 white sandy beaches are the greatest. If you go make sure you drive down roads that look like they go nowhere to explore the hidden beaches. I can't wait for my next trip!!!

“An awesome deal and a nice place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 April 2010

I've stayed at Patsy's twice this year and loved it. I went for new years and fell in love with Anguilla, then returned with friends in April. Anguilla can be very expensive, but staying at Patsy's makes it much more reasonable. It's not an island for the easily bored, but a good place to take it easy and eat, read , swim, drive around, talk to folks and relax. You need to rent a car if you stay here, but that can be done for about $35US per day. I say "need" to because it's cheaper than getting cabs and then you can explore some when you want. The beach in front of the hotel is very pretty, overlooking St. Martin, quite a grand view. For swimming I like to walk down the beach just a few mins to get away from the harbor and the boats, which is close to the hotel. Then each day I go to different beaches: Cap Juluca being my favorite. Each apartment has a kitchen, so if if you're on a budget you can cook as much as you like. I prefer the upstairs rooms because of the St. Martin view, but have stayed downstairs and it was great as well. The owners are very friendly, and will check each day that you have what you need. The rooms are clean and I've always had what I needed. It's really a great place that I almost don't want to share so it's not booked! I'm posting because I love the owners and want them to do well, worth sharing the secret.

“Already Booked For Next Year (2011) at Patsy's Seaside Villas”

My wife and I, one of her sisters and their best girlfriend, spent the nights of April 3, 2010 through April 11 at Patsy's Seaside Villas. Despite a booking miscommunication, we had a wonderful time at Patsy's. It met all our requirements of being clean, safe and comfortable. We had an upstairs apartment with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a large living room/kitchen combination and a large open-air balcony with million dollar views of St Martin, all for a very affordable price. No, you don't get chocolates on your pillow at night or gold-plated faucets in the bathroom. It is not a resort. What you do get is the ability to stay in a very, very nice place at a very good price. We had fresh towels every day and the apartment was cleaned and the beds were made up every day except for Sundays. We had cable TV with a variety of American stations but never watched it. We spend very little time in our room whenever we travel so the room is secondary to what we like to do, that is, see the area and meet the people. Marjorie, the owner, her husband, and Lisa, her daughter did everything they could to make our stay extremely pleasant. They are the nicest people. That is what makes Anguilla so special. The people are wonderful. This was our third trip to Anguilla but our first stay at Patsy's and we will be back at least twice next year. We, of course, will stay at Patsy's Seaside Villas.
