“Vacation Anguilla”

My infant son and I spent four days in Anguilla and of course we returned to Paradise Cove where we last vacationed in 2005. This place is absoulutely the best relaxing place ever. The rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly and helpful. As an added bonus to the place, the use of washer and dryer was very important. I am alsready planning my next trip in may 2012 and I will surely return to the place as though it is "home. Thanks Sherill!!!

“Top Notch Customer Service”

Hubby and I stayed at Paradise Cove for a week and found it to be incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Our 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom suite was HUGE, and I loved that the sink had 2 wash basins because at home hubby and I each have our own bathroom so this was a nice compromise. :)

The kitchen was large, with a full-size stove/oven and refrigerator. Slightly disappointed that it wasn't as stocked with pots/pans as I would have liked -- one large frying pan and one very small pot with a lid -- (yes, we're the strange people who like to cook our own meals when we're on vacation!!), but one "pasta night" elicited a call to the front desk for a larger pot and we promptly received one.

The grounds were impeccable, the nearby beach was full of gorgeous soft white sand, and the water was just perfect -- warm and refreshing.

It was incredibly humid when we were there, and there had been lots of rain lately, so the mosquitos were ferocious -- if, like me, you are susceptible for mosquito bites (OMG!), then you MUST bring mosquito repellant. I truly believe the bird to represent this country should be changed to the mosquito!! ;)

The restaurant and bar were nice. The food was good. We were happy to find they carried a veggie burger in their cafe, which we were very surprised to see out there in the middle of the Caribbean!

Anyway, enough blabbering. There was ONE person I want to shout out and that is Sherille the owner/manager. Not only did she know our names, but she was ALWAYS there to be sure our needs were taken care of. i love that! And with all she had to do, she always looked so calm, cool and collected - I was on vacation and she looked more pulled together than me! So kudos to Sherille for offering up the best customer service I have seen in a very, very long time. Thanks so much to Sherille, hubby, and their entire crew -- you made our trip quite memorable. :)

Room Tip: Bottom rooms are convenient, but beware in the rainy season you may get a few worms coming in throug...

“Most Awesome Vacation”

Four of us have recently returned from a 2 week vacation in Anguilla. We stayed at Paradise Cove. We all felt that this was the best vacation yet. A good part of that we owe to Paradise Cove. The staff really go out of their way to make your vacation memorable. Our 1 bedroom suites were huge and just like home. We had our breakfast each morning on the back balcony(you get TWO balconies) where the sunshine and beautiful breeze was a great way to start the day. We had close access to a washer and dryer (very handy) The meals in their cafe were great and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the pool, the nearby beach and the beautiful grounds at Paradise Cove. One of our group had just had knee surgery and the staff at Paradise Cove went out of their way to customize a beach chair for him. Sherille Hughes, the manager often checked in with us to make sure we were all doing ok and to see if we needed anything. She and her staff made dinner reservations for us and gave advice on the best places to get groceries etc. Her husband, Dr Hughes introduced himself and was always very friendly and helpful. We cannot say enough about Paradise Cove, the wonderful staff we got to know so well and of course, Sherille Hughes. We are looking forward to seeing them all again next year. You cannot go wrong staying at Paradise Cove.

Room Tip: Only two floors in each building so no elevator. Ask for a bottom floor suite if stairs are an issu...

“Wonderful Anguillan vacation!!”

My husband and I travelled to Anguilla last week. It was our first visit to the island after having visited many other Caribbean islands over the past 20 years. The welcome we received from Paradise Cove owner, Sherrill Hughes, could not have been warmer! She and the entire rest of the staff were extremely gracious and went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. The entire property was beautiful!-- gardens, pool area, everything. We were amazed to find out that we had been upgraded to a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath, 4-balcony, full kitchen villa. It was fantastic! They arranged to have our rental car delivered to the resort and it arrived soon after we did. The front desk staff gave us suggestions for restaurants and made dinner reservations at our preferred times. I think we tried out most of the beaches on the island and they were truly spectacular--pictures can not do them justice--and the unbelievable part was that we usually had them practically to ouselves!! The restaurants that we visited had some of the best food that we've had in the Caribbean (Tasty's, Straw Hat, Oliver's, Trattorria Tramunto, Picante, Mango's, Gwen's, Geraud's). We loved the entire island and will definitely go back. Thanks again to Sherril and the rest of the Cove staff for the wonderful vacation!

“Very comfortable hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2011

This was a business trip with colleagues. We stayed in studios - all equipped with Fridge, microwave and mini-stove. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The wireless was true high speed and included in the room price. There is a gym - very small however and you need to get the key from the front desk each time you want to go which annoyed me as I like to use the gym at midnight. Its 5 minutes walk to the a stunning beach. Restaurant facilities in the hotel are limited. This is offset as you can either microwave/cook in your room at your leisure or in the evening - check out Smokey's on the beach. Food was good and lots of options. I recommend you rent a car if you are staying more than a couple days as taxi fares are ruinous
