We'll soon embark on our 7th trip to La Petite Maison d'Amour. It's our favorite place to stay on special Anguilla. Private, fantastic views, romantic, sexy. When we arrive it feels as if we've come home again. What more could you want??

La Petite Maison d'Amour is our favorite vacation site. We live hectic, stress-filled lives on the US East Coast (Wash, DC), and find our week in Anguilla to be just what is needed to bring our lives back into balance. Karen's delightful home is simply the most tranquil place we've ever been. We love Anguilla and this home is what makes our stay so special. You can tell this home was built on love. We're spending our sixth visit to Anguilla at La Petite Maison d'Amour just after Thanksgiving. We have choices where we vacation, and we always begin our planning with a week in Anguilla at Karen's place. We love dining on the lanai that looks out over the Sound towards St Martin. Our only regret is that we did not discover La Petite Maison d'Amour earlier in our lives.

Outstanding! Over-the-top! Unforgettable! These are just a few adjectives to describe this beautiful hidden gem on the island of Anguilla. La Petite Maison d’Amour is just that - ‘a little house of love’. We so enjoyed the understated elegance that surrounded and captivated us for seven magical days and nights. We arrived with open minds and what we received far exceeded our expectations. The natural beauty outside, panoramic ocean view, rhythms of the waves and warm Caribbean breezes washed over us day and night. Inside, the enchanting West-Indies architecture, decor and free-flowing design allowed the island’s beauty to saturate our senses with peace and tranquility. The owners met all of our needs quietly and discreetly. Maid service was excellent. We felt pampered all the time we were there. After having traveled the Caribbean extensively, we rate both the island of Anguilla and La Petite Maison d’Amour a perfect ten and we intend to return to this magical often.

After many many hours of research for a place in St.Martin, Anguilla, St.Barth, the Virgin Islands, suitable to celebrate our wedding anniversary I selected La Petite Maison d'Amour and it was a good choice for the following reasons:

- Location: Beachfront and only steps away from a private sandy beach with clean and turquoise water. Facing South - therefore sunny all day and spectacular views of St.Martin. Accessible (SXM+short ferry ride+short taxi), yet complete privacy and no traffic noise (planes/ferry/cars) at all.

- Style: Open architecture to (re)connect with nature with a beautiful porch for al-fresco dining. The house is very well kept by Pam and in mint condition.

- Service/amenities: Karen helped on our so many questions. We were picked up at the ferry, the rental car was ready for us in the driveway and the fridge was stocked for a perfect start of our stay. There is free wireless, a large fridge/freezer (ice cream!) in a fully equipped kitchen, games, a small library and beach gear (chairs, umbrella, snorkelling masks). Large supermarket is a 10min drive away.

- Spirit: To give one example - allthough there is a phone in the house, Karen and Paul would communicate with us via paper notes, placed at the entrance under a rock or shell. They are creative, energetic and fun people but very considerate and they fully respect your privacy. The history of the house, their history, is an example and an encouragement that you should pursue your dreams in life.
