Keep in mind, I am writing this review 4 months late, but who can forget a place like Anguilla?

The Hilltop Apartments are slightly off the beaten path, but then again, so is Anguilla. One thing we would have done differently would be to arrange a rental car right away as Island Harbor, where the Hilltop Apartments are, is miles from most restaurants and beaches.

There is a beach within walking distance of the apartment, but it is a local fishing bay, so not ideal for sun bathing.

The apartment itself is spacious and has all necessary amenities (save for a phone). It also boasts a lovely ocean view as seen in my photo.

Karle and his family were more than accomodating! Aside from my review being 4 months late, it is also possibly tainted by the airline losing our luggage. When we arrived Karle, seeing we had no luggage, ran home and picked up t-shirts and shorts to give to my husband. I can't tell you what a relief that was being in a foreign place, with no luggage, and no resources, to know we had a friend.

There was some confusion about how much the rate was, which left a bad taste in our mouth, but Karle's hospitality was unforgettable.
