We spent a few days at Redwood and did some pretty cool stuff in the area, i.e. horseback riding and crabbing, and Stacy and Mike were very accommodating in helping us arrange things. However, for the price that we paid, the accommodations were not a good value - they are run down, not super clean, and not furnished with the basic Nicaragua necessities like mosquito nets, which are a must in these parts. We were not as comfortable as we would have liked during our stay. The food is really good, thanks to their chef. The beach is pretty. The ocean a bit tough to swim when we were there due to strong currents. It's a super remote location, which is part of the fun, so be ready for that. Their taxi driver, Guillermo, was the highlight of our trip.
