i stayed here with my sister for 1 week from the 26th July, my sister had stayed here before so she knew what to expect whereas i didnt, all we wanted was a fun holiday near the beach, near the bars etc.... which is exactly what we got.

the pool is small and compact but there never seemed to be a shortage of sunbeds, even in the peak season, the food is really nice, they do alot of english food too which is good, be aware that the pool is next sewage place so there is a slight smell every now & again but i wouldnt let this put you off as it really isnt that bad!

the staff where fab i dont know how people can say they are rude, they where far from it, james the bar manager was my favourite, always smiling, also the men at reception always greeted us with a smile, couldnt do enough for us, i really wouldnt listen to the awful reviews, basically you get what you paid for!! if you want 5* then go somewhere else and pay for it, i paid next to nothing for this property and i loved every minute of it, i work for thomas cook so im not short of holidays but i would definately return here again and again!!

if you do ever stay here go & visit the swan bar it is amazing, staff are so friendly, and absolutely made my holiday!!!!! we where 2 young girls and we felt so safe here they really looked after us, if for example you realised you didnt have enough money to pay the bill, they would say oohhhh just pay it tomorrow, so trusting, always remembered our names, and would reserve seats for us!!

loved every minute of this holiday :-) returning to this hotel in sept then again in may 2011!!!!!!!

i had 2 or 3 good years at the nazar we are 2 of the people that left @ went to the mutlu apts @ are really enjoying it one of your reviews says your bag is not looked in rubbish it is @ 3 of my friends stayed there june 2010 @ it happend to them @ 2 more long standing guests were in the mutlu 1st 2 weeks in june 2010 on our last visit on the day we were leaving no help with our cases no goodbye maybe because no more JD

Worst hotel ever towels were grey bleached stain dirty . noise was very bad complained to the manager .
He wasnt bothered was very rude stopped us bringing in water to the hotel on the last day . Told us jsut to dump our bags by the door on the last day , as he didnt care .
the best part was the breakfast , staff really couldnt be bothered to be there, as other reviews have said you have to put a ticket on your room to get cleaned etc this isnt advertised anywhere ,
this hotel may be ok winter months dont go there in the summer.
I have been to many places and dont expect 5 star service but ive stayed in better 2 star accomadtion

i travelled to altinkum in october of this year with my husband, having been to the resort many many times we knew more or less what to expect from the locals... boy were we in for a shock. we had stayed at the nazar when it was s/c.. and the staff then were lovely and helpful... this time well!!!! the attitude of some of them left a lot to be desired... one or two of them were very nice and polite.. but the others were rude , arrogant , and basically couldnt give a [--] .. what a way to go eh? mehmet and chris were the only ones with any semblance of manners to boot.. and the guy behind the bar 2... saw the cleaners 3 times during our stay... not very good on that score at all... left our rubbish outside door of cleaners cupboard most mornings,, just so as we had an empty bin... well when i say bin,, more like a plant pot... ideal just 4 resting ur head and showering... end of!!!!..
