“Really nice!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

We stayed at "Fairholme" only one night and it was a good choice.
Really near to Darthmouth.
The en-suite room is little, but nice and confortable.
The bathroom is a little dark, without window, but very coloured and with particular details.
An added value is the "patio" where you can have your breakfast, read a magazine, relax, play etc.
Everytink is coloured and pleasant and at the breakfast you have a wide range of food!

Room Tip: The rooms are at the groundfloor, so they are accesible to everyone!

“Wonderful breakfasts and good accommodation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2011

The outstanding thing about this place is the breakfasts! Wonderful - worth visiting just for that. Our room was very clean, very comfortable and had enough room for all our walking gear. There is a lovely bright garden room/conservatory that is a great place to relax and read. The hosts are welcoming and friendly; this is a good place for people walking the Coastal Path

“excellent bed + breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2011

We spent 3 nights at this wonderfull bed and breakfast, situated in a quiet village 2 miles from Dartmouth. our room was clean and beds very comfortable. There was plenty of complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Fairholme was a short walk to the local pub ( the Green Dragon) and a restaurant ( Brill Plaice). Both we can highly recommend.
If you are looking for a relaxing stay at a quiet bed and breakfast which offers ecellent value for money, this is the place for you

“Lovely little B and B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2010

Having had a nightmare trying to find somewhere to stay in Dartmouth on short notice that wasn't going to cost us the earth, Fairholme was a surprising little gem. Tucked away in a corner in the lovely village of Stoke Fleming, there's a little bit of Portugal. The owners have decorated their guest house in warm colours reminiscent of their trips to this country. The conservatory, where the breakfasts are delicious AND at a reasonable time of the morning, is warm and inviting with big glass doors that open onto a patio where the two cats lay in the sunshine. Our room was very cosy, with more warm colours and chunky wooden furniture and the little ensuite was just gorgeous. Kettle, mugs (instead of silly little cups), biscuits, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, decaff coffee, herbal tea - plus a hairdryer and sky tv. Also I noticed in the bottom drawer of the unit, 2 hot water bottles and an extra blanket. The ensuite had complimentary shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap etc too. The little touches that even larger hotels tend to forget sometimes, I highly recommend the Fairholme as a quiet, clean, and comfy escape that's definitely value for money.

“Fabulous B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2009

I've stayed at Fairholme twice now and its a fab B&B. Quiet, clean, ample carparking, good breakfasts and a lovely conservatory to relax in. Within walking distance is an excellent pub (Green Dragon) and the local hotel (Stoke Lodge). If you're fit and able, Blackpool Sands is walkable via the south west coast path. Loved it here, would definitely go back and definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet rural retreat that won't cost a small fortune.
