Upon our arrival we were ushered through to our "superior" room. We all looked at each other and said 'we cant stay here for 4 nights'. The room consisted of old outdated furniture, very basic fittings, and overall not welcoming. They say 3.5 star, I say 2 at the best. After contemplating going elsewhere we paid an additional charge for the ocean view room which was also very basic but much larger and had good views. The ambience of night time dining was non existent which other resorts close by seemed to provide. On the positive side the staff were very helpful and friendly and it was handy to water sports out the front, although the beach was often covered in weed and rubbish. Hotel designed for mass package tours from Asia and domestic tourists.

After being in the air for 20 hours we were looking forward to some down timeThe ride from the airport on the scooter filled road took about 20 minutes.Check-in was smooth and easy and we settled in to our poolside room.The room was basic but clean with two comfortable double beds ,lots of storage space and a bar fridge with two bottles of water daily.The shower in the bathroom had good pressure and always had hot water.
The pool was kept free of debris and poolboys were attentive about making sure that you had lounge cushions.The beach could stand to be looked after a little better but no trouble getting seating there.The water was the warmest we ever experienced anywhere and when the tide is out wade out to the sandbar to see the many starfish.A path borders the beach for long walks in either direction.
Breakfasts were great.An omellete cook who made your eggs any way you liked and many buffet items for western and Balinese tastes.Things changed from day to day so it was never boring.Great lounge area next to the dining area to take your tea and coffee to and relax with newspapers or magazines.Internet available there but pricey.
The staff in all areas friendly and helpful.Wayan was especially helpful in getting a bag of clothes and items to a local orphanage.Knowing we had never been to Bali before he brought us a gift of mangosteens and other fruits we had never seen before and showed us how to eat them.Delicious.
Activities on land can be arranged at kiosks along the street and there are places along the beach to arrange water activities.Moneychanging,snacks,drinks,souvenirs,sunglasses,tshirts are all avaiable at store across the road from the hotel and a small supermarket a few minutes down the road to the right.Beware of small time moneychangers that offer really good rates they will do confusing counting tricks to shortchange you if you're not sharp.Lots of restaurants to either side of the hotel but watch your step as sidewalks are uneven and tricky.

nice hotel, gr8 pool but d rooms r quite basic but clean and spacious. as nusa dua is a quite expensive place so this hotel fits in ur budget if u book it with d hotel's website

I simply love the idea of resort hotel. After all, that's what Bali is all about -to unwind & soak the sun.
I stayed in The Oasis Beach for 3 nights during my last visit to Bali for business. I got some kind of a private suite -Rhadana Suite. The suite was huge, like real huge you'll get lost inside of it. You'll get easily confused whether to swim in the pool or the beach. Not to mention also the private pool in my suite.
With seamless area/ zone organization inside the room, the suite, and generally the whole property complex, is suitable for honeymooners. It's located in Benoa, an area which is quite far from vibrant-Kuta-scene, both distance-wise & ambiance-wise. If you're up for something a bit quiet, you may find this area suitable for your taste.
But don't be fooled by its quietness, Benoa is famous for water sport activities! You can find spots for jet skiing within walking distance from The Oasis.
Plus plus plus..here comes the minus part: they have cable TV that doesn't show English Premier League match! I stayed during weekend, and it was torturing since I couldn't find any sports bar around the area..
