Very good value for money. A quiet spot which is ideal if you want to chill out away from the world but not so ideal if you need internet and mobile signals ! Clean, comfortable and food of a high quality. Grumpy barman could learn a lot though from his much older colleague Margaret who was extremely helpful, friendly and lots of fun.

Enjoyed my stay and decent location. Good service at the hotel reception. I just felt it was a bit expensive.

Went to enjoy a family Sunday lunch and was not disappointed in the slightest. The service was efficient and unobtrusive. The food was contemporary in its' simplicity with quality ingredients. The staff were professionally patient attending to a family with 3 kids all under 4 years of age. A great afternoon out with the only downside being we couldn't stay any longer.

We stayed at this hotel after returning from a holiday in florida and wanted to unwind a bit after a hectic 2 weeks.
We live just over an hour away from Birnam and have had the odd night out in Dunkeld before and thought it was just what we needed.
We stayed at the hotel with friends and we all thought it was just perfect and the fact that it was such a lovey sunny weekend added to our stay. We found the staff to be very helpful and the rooms were lovely and clean and very comfy. It was just what we wanted of a country hotel.
The hotel is a grand building and the grounds are just lovely . It took us maybe about 10 min to walk to Dunkeld. We had our tea outside at the Birnam Inn and it was just perfect. The staff there could not have been nicer it was such a lovely atmosphere.
Unfortunatley we only stayed for one night but are planning to go back again. We also unfortunatley did not manage to sample breakfast as it finished too early for us on this occasion at half 9 (maybe next time tho),
