We visited the spa for an hour massage and I should have read the brochure more carefully because it did say they offered 50-minute couple massages. But, it didn't matter because we only got a 40 minute massage and neither of us got a good massage.

I complained on the way out but the receptionist didn't really care.

Although the facility is lovely and the setting equally so, I would not return to the spa under any circumstance (although the restaurant was great and the service was equally great).

We just returned from a week at Tierra del Sol the villa we were in was a new ones and top of the line including the pool and large hot tub - beautiful views and golf - just walk the desert and sea course even if you don't play golf - friendly staff and Aruba really is one happy Island with lots do or just get all at the resort - Spa and restaurant were great and the views form the restaurant were amazing

We stayed at Tierra del Sol and what a great villa rental program. The staff was excellent, the food was superb, and the golf was magnificent. I would highly recommend it over any of the hotels simply because you can get a 3 bedroom villa with your own private swimming pool for about the same price as you would pay for a hotel room at the Hyatt or Marriott.

I am writting to let people know how awful the staff at the spa is. I have been disappointed time and time again by their horrible attitudes. I agree with the other reviewer who said that the treatments are mediocre too. That coupled with a rotten staff make for a very bad experience. I would recommend the Marriot spa where the treatments are so much better and the staff very well trained and welcoming. The Tierra Del Sol spa is always quite and I know why - they treat the guests like they are doing them a favor. I will not ever go back and I also recommend people try other spas on the island. The staff has been rude to us when we have used the pool as well.
