We are a family of 4 with two adult daughters who came back to Aruba for our 25th Anniversary after visiting on our 20th. Remembering what a beautiful beach Malmock was, we chose to stay at Ocean 105 in the Raymond apartment, with the ocean view for the easy access to one of our favorite snorkeling spots. All we had to do is walk down the hill and jump into the turquoise water to view many beautiful fish, turtles and various sea life. This is the same area where ships and boats bring snorkelers from other locations in the afternoon.
Everyone from the property managers to the housekeeper to the owner made us feel right at home. The apartments are very clean and have all the basics you need. We had beach towels,chairs and a full size cooler at out disposal and snorkeling equipment available for our use.
If you just want to lay on the beach, just around the corner from Malmock is Arashi Beach. The sand there is soft and white and if you still want to snorkel, you can here too, by just walking into the shallow water. It's perfect for beginners.
It is recommended to rent a car to get around the Island to enjoy everything it has to offer and see all the sights. The highrise hotels are just 5 minutes drive down the road where there are many restaurants to eat and close by in Noord is a grocery store if you want to do some simple cooking in.
If you want a more quiet relaxed area and freedom to come and go when you want, Ocean 105 is the place for you. We were very satisfied with our stay at Ocean 105 and would most likely return again on our next trip to Aruba!

This condo felt like home. It was roomy, well decorated and right on the beautiful water. Jemma arrived to greet us and gave us all the information we needed for a wonderful stay. Ray (the owner) was on the premise and helped us with whatever we needed. The courtyard and patio were a nice place to relax....and relax we did! Will def come back to Ocean 105. Thanks guys for a perfect few nights.

Ocean 105 was a very nice place to stay. Very clean, bright, nice furnishings and amenities. The best view and right next to a beach with awesome snorkeling. We saw 3 starfish on the bottom there. Raymond is the owner and Albert the host both were very nice and hospitable. I think "The most intersting man in the world" dos Equis guy was modeled after Raymond. He was definately interesting and very charming. Love the accent. Anyway, great place to stay. Needs outlets in the bathrooms.

My first trip to Aruba will be that indeed, a first. Of many.
Ocean 105 was perfect for us, the service was impeccable, the rooms were spacious, clean well appointed and suited very nicely for a traveler. the Kitchen came with everything we needed for appliances, dishes, etc, etc. The location of the building was right at Malmok beach, one of the premier snorkeling and beach spots on the island. There was nothing at all that we didn't like about our stay on the island or our stay at Ocean 105. It was a bit of a magical week, and staying where we did made everything flow very nicely. Hotels are not the way to experience Aruba, private residences are. Ocean 105 is a prime example of the best way to stay when on vacation.
