My husband and I traveled to the New Forest to visit family and were looking for a place between Hythe and Dibden Perlieu. It is a 5 min walk to Hythe and ten minute walk to Dibden Perlieu. We were able to cycle everywhere, enjoy walks in the New Forest and still catch a bus in to Southampton in the evenings.
The Arden House is decorated in shabby chic/French Country style and very nice. The accommodations are perfect - wireless internet, plenty of outlets, en suite bathrooms (very modern), efficient heating and cooling. The garden is gorgeous if you feel like you need a break. Breakfast each morning was in the beautiful conservatory.
You could have anything you liked for breakfast. The host/hostess were more than willing to accommodate your diets (vegetarian in our case).
Absolutely would stay here again.

A very welcoming and excellently organised B& B where breakfast was served overlooking a lovely garden at the time we chose. John and Patti were perfect hosts and went out of their way to provide lots of information about the area.The house is opposite a pleasant pub/eaterie, in walking distance of Hythe centre and the Southampton ferry and is very close to the New Forest - ideally situated for everything we wanted to do.
We were very lucky to have found Arden House and hopefully will find time to return.

We stayed at the Arden House for one night as we were attending a friend's wedding in Dibden. John and Patti were extrememly welcoming and were happy for us to check in a little early in order for us to change for the wedding. The double room we stayed in was beautiful and immaculate with a large en suite shower room.
We had a last minute request to bring our 17 month old son. This was not a problem and we were provided with a lovely cot with bedding (not a travel cot as were are often given).
The bed was very comfortable and we all had a peaceful night sleep.
The breakfast was absolutely superb and our son was provided with a high chair and plastic croquery and cuttlery. John and Patti even thought to provide full fat milk fo him.
We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return if we ever need accommodation in the area.

This is the second time that I have been to Arden House and I would still recommend this lovely b and b. It is one of the best that we have ever been to and you are made to feel so welcome.We stayed in a lovely double bedroom this time with pretty furnishings, a really comfortable bed and a superb shower room.
Nothing is too much trouble. John ran off superb pictures of Exbury gardens for us to see before we visited there, which showed the wonderful azaleas and rhodendrons in full bloom. The breakfast, as always,is a feast. We would always choose to stay at Arden House if we visit the New Forest again.
