We stayed in Condo #504 for two weeks in November 2011, and enjoyed the luxury and the views. Each condo has its' own pool, and there is also a pool complex at the central leisure centre on the facility. The centre also has a restaurant, bar facilities, gift shop, weights/fitness room and indoor swimming pool. The complex has a large catamaran, which takes guests along to the boardwalk and on dolphin-watching excursions. A fine white sand beach lies a short walk from the complex, with excellent water facilities provided by the condo complex. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave for the airport at the end.

Absolutely gorgeous property with five towers overlooking the National Seashore, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Bay. Water views all around at the end of Pensacola Beach. Lifestyle Center offers a wonderful Spa and pool. Each tower has it's own pool. They only have 2 and 3 bedroom condos. Each is individually decorated by the owner so it is different every time we visit. Not the cheapest place to stay but worth it when you can get 3 nights and 1 night free. I wish they had more dining options such as room service. Beautiful unit as we stayed in Tower 1 in a 3 bedroom Gulf front unit. I don't think you would be disappointed with a Gulf/Bayview. The property is across the road from the beach but there is so little land the road is immediately next the the beach. It didn't bother us as it was just a short little 3 minute walk. You get two beach chairs each day and towels. Nice that we didn't have to rent chairs. Bikes you can rent that do not cost extra. Lots of perks and felt like home! Parking decks have assigned parking so nice that you don't have to find a spot.

We stayed a week at Portofino Island Resort in June 2011. They really get everything right in the units. The units are very large, you do not feel crowded, or like things are miniature. Granite kitchens and baths, everything you need in the kitchen to cook even an elaborate meal. Attractive and comfortable furniture and living areas, large bedrooms and bathrooms, balcony with grills. Everything very clean.

Pensacola beach is very relaxed, different than the areas along the coast where all the children are dressed in white from head to toe. It is not stuffy, you do not 'dress for dinner' and if this is what you are looking for, this may not be for you. This is an area for those who want to relax and have fun. Flounders and Pegleg Pete's have great food, with Flounders winning for the best Bushwackers (and we tried a LOT of them just to be sure!)

We went deep sea fishing with "Reel Easy Charters" and had a great time! Caught lots of fish, and they cleaned our catch so we could cook it up. Fantastic!

Great pool areas, spa and restaurant. The restaurant menu was somewhat limited, but then we cooked in our unit and ate out a lot, so it didn't matter so much to us.

We had a blast body surfing and playing in the ocean, the beach was exceptionally clean with great service!

Portofino Island Resort & Spa was an amazing experience for me and my family! All beach goers must visit Portofino and Pensacola Beach during their lifetimes! There are plenty of activities near the resort and community locals are very friendly and helpful! Portofino is perfect for long visits to the area as well as hosting beach parties and meetings!
