“Great National Park Lodge”

We missed the boat to the resort but the friendly staff picked us up from the dock. The cabin is rustic and awesome and you have to bring your own food. Each cabin is floating on the lake and has a complete kitchen with modern appliances. The bathroom is convenient, the beds are rustic, and the stove is old-fashioned! it is perfect for any type of family, seniors, and honeymooners. To get around the park you can rent a motorboat or kayak that you can just leave on the shore because nobody will take it. Just watch out for bears and mountain lions!

“I Love It!”

I have been going to Ross Lake Resort since about 2000 or 2001. I am in my early teenage years, so I make a lot of new friends there, and never tire for adventures. Ross Lake is the one thing that makes me look forward to summer vacation hurrying, since I go in mid-July, and that is VERY far away for me.
I stay in the Peak Cabins for the first week or so, and boy, is that a view! It's beautiful, and spacious. I love going there, and I hope if you ever have a chance to go, you'll have a great time, because I'm sure almost everybody does.

“Almost Missed It! Would'a Been A Shame”

Was supposed to meet the boat to Ross Lake Resort at 3pm. Got to the access road in plenty of time only to find it closed! Crane on the Diablo Dam doing work blocked the road longer than expected. Missed the Boat.....LITERALLY! But, thanks to the super employees of Ross Lake Resort (and Seattle City Light) we not only got to our cabin but on a far faster boat than the usual "Fisherman's Ferry." The boat captain even refused our offer of appreciation!

The place is so cool! Really great. Canoed, hiked, read a book and did a jigsaw puzzle from the office's loaner library (OK, it sounds cheezy ..... but it's a great escape!), cooked fish on the grill, had a great bottle of wine and two wonderful nights' sleep.

I'd go back!!! Only thing I'd do different is bring more wine and more food! The place has everything else you need!!!!

Our trip to Ross Lake was breathtaking. This was our first visit and we are all ready excited to return next year. The surroundings are majestic and the resort is the perfect place to get away from the all of your troubles and just relax. We had many adventures and truely enjoyed our stay. It is a great place to go even if you don't like to fish. A must for all who love the outdoors.

“Beautiful Lake Resort”

Fantastic secluded lake with crystal clear water. Unfortunately we were not able to stay the night because we happened upon the entrance to the hiking trail down to the boat pickup. We were totally unaware that there was a floating resort on the other side of the lake. The boat picked us up and brought us to the resort. From there we rented our own boat and cruised the lake. Awesome! When we were done cruising we went back to the resort. They shuttled us back to the other side of the lake and we had to hike back up to the road side where our RV was. Hiking back uphill was the only bummer since the wife was pregnant. Otherwise it was a fantastic experience.
