We stayed at Sacred Sands for two nights during Thanksgiving week, and absolutely loved it. We had high expectations, because of the great reviews, so I was a little worried it wouldn’t live up to the hype – but it totally did.

The place itself is beautiful – the architecture and the interior design/decorating were really well done (in our amateur opinions!). Our room was so well put-together and comfortable – so many little touches that combined to make it feel luxurious and unique at the same time. But the outdoor space – both out private “back yard” and the rest of the property – is what’s really amazing. Soaking in the outdoor tub, looking at more stars than we’ve probably ever seen before, was amazing.

Scott and Steve, the owners, were the perfect hosts – friendly and outgoing but completely low key. We had a delicious breakfast each morning and they gave great advice for hikes in the park.

Can’t wait to visit again!

Sacred Sands was the highlight of our trip. The two bedrooms are truly beautiful-exquisitely furnished and tastefully decorated and the patios with hot tubs are lovely too. Steve and Scott are fantastic hosts and cook the most delicious breakfast which is more like taking lunch at a top restaurant!
It was one of the best places we have ever stayed anywhere in the world and on the edge of most stunningly beautiful national park.

We had a wonderful experience at Sacred Sands. This is a wonderful environment for a weekend or longer stay in the Joshua Tree area. We stayed in the West Room. In addition to being beautifully decorated, our room was incredibly comfortable and made us feel immediately at home. The shower has multiple shower heads. The room has an L-shaped outdoor space with a jacuzzi, outdoor queen sized bed, and an outdoor shower. We were able to star watch on the outdoor bed one evening and enjoy the fresh air and clear skies. Sacred Sands is very near the entrance to Joshua Tree, which we found to be visually stunning. Last, and certainly not least, Scott and Steve are amazing hosts. They have created an environment that is among the best I have every experienced in a hotel or B&B. They are low key and offered excellent suggestions for places to visit and have meals. The breakfasts were wonderful. I recommend Sacred Sands highly. We certainly hope to return there in the future.

Real Luxury, close to West-entrance! Very nice, highly committed hosts. The room (North Room) offers real luxury: shower with five shower heads, outdoor shower, outdoor jacuzzi, and outdoor queen size bed - a great idea to visit stars at night! Remarkable designed room - far away from American hotel standard.
