“Great stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Hubby and I stayed a night here during our visit to grand canyon! Minimarts, restaurant was just nearby! The room was adequate. Parking was just right in front of the room, water heater and room heater was working well. Room is clean and bed is comfy! Just that the surroundings are very dark and road signs to the lodge are not many and clear. Overall it was a very good experiece!!!

“after camping for a few days....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

This place was HEAVEN!! We hiked down to Supai and stayed at the bottom of Havasu falls for three nights.....two nights would have been plenty. But after camping for three days, and doing a 10 mile hike out, driving back to the National Park from Seligman (which was the pick up spot for the Havasu hike) which was a couple hours....a hot shower, a very close grocery store, a soft bed, and convenient location to El Tovar restaurant......it was like a 5 star sight for sore eyes!! It will suite you needs. You have to drive down to the main starting points for most stuff, but it only a couple miles, but parking is hard to find, not impossible however. I'd say if you can't catch a vacancy at El Tovar which is where I wanted to stay, this place won't let you down. Nice cafeteria on the campus which we used for breakfast only. Also, we went the weekend before Memorial Day and it wasn't that full as I believe Memorial Day is their official kick off to their season.

Room Tip: they are only two story buidlings, so if you don't like hearing somebody over top of you, just a...

“Great stay at the Rim”

We had a great stay at Yavapai lodge. Our room was modern and the bed was fantastic and so comfortable! There were many fantastic dining options in the near vicinity and we liked that there was a tour and information desk at the lobby. This made it easy to find a tour and book in. All in all a great stay and I would recommend to everyone.

“Thank you for the comfortable bed”

Yavapai Lodge is a great place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon. I was surprised by the nicely appointed rooms and comfortable beds. It was also a nice touch to have a bathroom heater, as the floors in the bathroom (1st floor) are extremely cold in the winter mornings. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

I would definitely recommend staying in the park rather than saving a little money to stay outside of the park.

Recommend to all!

“Yavapai Lodge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

Booked a room for 1 night between Christmas and New Years. Do to the season the rooms were expensive but only $40 more a night than the ones right outside the park. We were very happy with the room and staying inside the park. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom fan was alittle loud. The mini frig was set on the warmest setting which didn't matter since we had an ice chest and only stayed 1 night. If we ever go back will stay here again vice the lodges on the rim. Reason very little traffic to deal with and quiet.

Room Tip: Food is expensive so we ate a large lunch in Flagstaff before arriving and had snacks for breakfast.
