Based on the prices other places were charging, this was a fine place to stay. Cabins were small, but we weren't here to hang out inside. We had great view of river & mountains and we didn't have any noise problems. Staff was helpful and courteous, very friendly. Transportation was a little confusing, but it worked out. Glad that we stayed there instead of "in town" which was pretty over-run with tacky touristy places and too much traffic.

An O.K. place to stay, but these were some of the problems areas we saw:

-No early check-in, not even if its two hours prior to the check-in time of 3 PM
-no soap in shower dispenser, remove it if your not going to fill it!
-no aerator on sink. splash, splash, splash!
-very small shower head

All in all, these are not critical items, but still they should be looked at!

The property staff was great. However, the cabins need major updating. The bathroom sink is in the sleeping area causing a person to walk around the room with dirty hands. There is a strong sewer smell around the #20 rooms. There is not much to do by the cabins.

I cannot add much to the earlier reviews. Most reviews described the accommodations accurately. Next to the highway (some noise), half doors, long walkways, etc. Two beds, small bathroom. Was an enjoyable stay, and very nice to be away from Glitter Gulch and all that hoopla, but you can still take the hotel's free shuttle into town if desired.

I really enjoyed the cabins proximity to the Triple Lakes hiking trail into Denali. The trailhead is only 1/4 mile from the cabins, across the bridge on the highway.
