We had not expected Cinque Terre to be so crowded and only reserved a room in Volastra because nothing was available on the coast. What a find! We drove right up to the hotel - something you cannot do at many 5T lodgings - and into their underground parking. Parking is another problem at many hotels in the 5 villages. The proprietress was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and spotless, the breakfast was good. As soon as you check in you should ask about dinner reservations at the excellent restaurant nearby (forgotten the name but maybe there's only one in this tiny town). Take a short bus ride down to Manarola and you can visit all 5 quaint villages by walking, train, boat, or a combination. After getting your fill of sightseeing, shopping and swimming, leave the crowds behind and return by bus to your mountain getaway!

We enjoyed our stay Antonella was very helpful before arriving with prompt emailing and also during our stay with lots of helpful hints.

The bed and breakfast was very clean and comfortable. The location was great we arrived by car and found it very easy to get to and park the car. We caught the bus service to Manarola which was very easy. The Cinque Terre card was great value for money and made our stay easy.

We loved arriving to the hotel at night to find the fireplace roaring and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar very cosy.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is easy to get to by car and thereafter the bus service is well designed to assist visitors to gain maximum benefit from this beautiful area.

Up in the hills of Volastra above Manarola, this B & B is away from it all. A shuttle takes you up and runs 2/hr. There is also a trail if you want to hike. It was a nice, quiet location away from the crowded towns below. It is also cooler, which in Aug. was a real plus. Rooms are large as well as baths, with terraces. Antonella runs a very attractive, clean inn. There is a full service bar, as well, so it was nice having a drink on the terrace after a long day in the Cinque Terrre villages.
