A charming hotel with a delightful innkeeper and staff! We stayed a two nights over Christmas, and enjoyed it greatly. The staff was eager to please, the town of Budoia is a nice town, and the beautiful St Andrew the Apostle church and main piazza is a short 5 min walk down the street.
Breakfast and internet included...excellent Italian breakfast and our baristas were able to come up with anything we asked for on the spot. The first afternoon, I went down for coffee and it was just before Mass so I needed a little pick-me-up to shake off the jetlag...he produced some bite-sized rolls with proscuitto and some excellent espresso! After the first morning, the "morning barista" Anna remembered I liked cappuccino, and asked me if I wanted one before I even asked! She also fetched some proscuitto and formaggio for breakfast when I was a little early for breakfast!
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and big for Europe, and the bathrooms while furnished in old-school European style where spacious and clean. The beds were the only "sore" spot...our bed was clearly worn out and badly in need of replacement.
We felt more like guests in someone's home rather than at a hotel, and our innkeeper Anika really made is feel at ease. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
