About half of the people of India live in the crowded cities. The other half live in places such as the village of Jojowar in the state of Rajasthani. The Rawla Jojowar, a former palace, is located about 200 feet from the center of the village. It is thus close to lots of shopping. The hotel features beautiful grounds in this small and not very touristic town. The food is good and there was a buffet every evening that was served in a courtyard when weather permits. The hotel offers a pool and there was live entertainment one evening. The room did not have a TV and there was no internet access. There are rooms on three floors but not lifts. The rooms were of good size as was the bath. Some rooms come with a balcony. The hotel has its own stable and offers horse rides. In addition, the hotel offers tours of the area by Jeep or train. The staff was eager to please and worked hard to ensure that everyone enjoyed their stay. The room, while somewhat on the basic side, was very large and clean.
