I stayed overnight on business and arrived late, the receptionist was very helpful and although the restaurant was closing the staff brought a meal to my room. The room was clean and a nice size, a desk + chair would have been a nice addition as I had to use the side board for my meal + to finish off some work. The bed was comfy + I slept well & breakfast the next morning was generous, well presented and very tasty, I look forward to trying the restaurant properly on my next visit!

It is handy being next to Queengate Westfield and close to the centre of Lower Hutt.

The pool wasnt much to see but the food I agree was excellent for breakfast.

The room was spacious and comfy. The TV was average. There not much to do in Lower Hutt. My work paid for this accommodation so I cant complain. There are plenty of birds that sqwark during the night and early morning so sleeping was a bit tough.

It reminds me of the country comfort hotels or best western. Theres a balcony which wasnt much use. If I had to come back to Wellington, I would stay closer to the city and somewhere near Courtney Place.

Fantastic service all round, friendly staff made you feel at home with extras.
From making the original booking,confirmation, reception, housekeeping, room service all done with ease & a smile. Even booked an extra night with no problems. Would recommend staying here. Had one problem which was not hotels fault - early wake up (5am) by noisey waste truck picking up rubbish otherwise all good.

I was on a business trip while staying at the Angus Inn recently and it is in a great location in Lower Hutt for business but is very outdated. The entire complex, rooms included is circa 1970's but is clean and comfortable. The rooms are a decent size. Road noise is heard from most rooms so if you are a light sleeper bring your ear plugs! The restaurant however is fabulous, the food is 5 star with an extensive menu and daily specials board available also.
