Exceptional food in a beautiful place. Everyhing was perfect in this little bit of heaven.

I can't honestly think of one negative in relation to my recent stay in the old convent. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Warm welcome . Absolutely unbelievable food . Treats available 24hrs. Peace and quiet . I could go on forever.

We have just returned from a lovely night and meal in the old convent. We were last there in 2008 when my now husband decided to propose in this lovely romantic location.

Room 7 was beautiful, huge bath, big room, soft bed. Lovely bubble bath, decent hairdryer. No conditioner, bring your own.

Meal was again, delicious. 8 courses, 2 of which were dessert. If I had one tiny criticism, it would be that I am more a fan of savory than sweet, so a cheese course instead of these two desserts would have been appreciated.

The staff are all so lovely and welcoming, it is the most relaxed we have been in months.

I have been to The Old Convent twice and both times i was blown away by the standard which is presented here. At arrival we were brought into the greeting area and offered a glass of wine and given our menu.

You are taken into the Dining room for 8 and it is a very relaxed, warm atmosphere.

To my knowledge it is a set menu which changes nightly. This is an 8 course Gourmet tasting menu.

All food is organic and sourced locally.It really is a dining experince as you dont know what you are getting until you are handed the menu.
You wont be disappointed as the chef here is top notch.

The staff are so good here, So kind and polite.

Every little detail here is perfect, the setting, the grounds it is a real get away.

We didnt stay the night but next time we absolutely will
