The Hotel is in a busy little town and walking down the street we were greeted with friendly 'hello's'. The hotel staff were kind and well meaning in the way they dealt with us. We were happy with our rooms; but realistic about the age of the building and all that would go along with that. Ok, the music was loud on the second of two nights we stayed but we turned our initial reactions around by going down and having a looksy and deciding that people were having a great time - and we were in a social hotel. We'd had a busy touristy day so didn't mingle but it was a nice atmosphere (better than heavy metal). The reception, kitchen and waiting staff were very helpful. Our rooms were very clean. We got what we paid for and it met our needs. A good place for people passing through and only wanting a night's stay. I will always remember the laughing, kind receptionist who gave the impression nothing was too difficult.
