We stopped here our first night in Costa Rica and again before returning home. The gardens are beautiful with lots of birds. We stayed on the second floor with a garden view. Make sure you request a room with a garden view. We enjoyed the balcony what a view. We checked the rates on the internet then called the hotel to make a reservation. When we called the hotel direct we got a rate $35 less than listed on the net and it included a free breakfast. The breakfast was very good lots of fresh fruit and lots of other choices. It was very quiet and clean.

Stayed here the first night that we arrived in Costa Rica. Arrived at night so did not appreciate gardens until morning. Woke up to the most beautiful garden ever. You can stroll at your on pace, stop to view the birds and flowers and meditate. Rooms were fine and very comfortable. First night we were on third floor, second visit on the second floor. Be sure to ask to have a room facing gardens on second floor. You have your own balcony to sit relax and get lost in thought. Around $140, very reasonable. Loved it. Also toured the Brit coffee factory and they picked us up at hotel and after an enjoyable tour- returned us. Wonderful!

Everything is enjoyable from check-in to departure. The staff is very friendly and attentive to every need. The views from the rooms are beautiful. The gardens are incredible. We also enjoy the comfortable bar area and restaurant.

This was my first time in Costa Rica and my first night's stay. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens are fabulous. This was a great start of a wonderful ten day trip.
