We chose this place based on the Tripadvisor reviews that all mentioned the wonderful breakfast. We were not disappointed. We ate like royalty. The food was beyond belief. It was that good. It carried us well into the late afternoon. Breakfast was not only great food but a lot of fun. Gerard and Lucie were entertaining and social hosts. Our room was on the first floor and was very comfortable with a lovely view of the St. Lawrence. We were even able to pick up some souvenirs/Christmas gifts in the way of slippers and socks that Lucie's 90+ year old mother had knitted. I can't say enough good things about this place. I even learned about Felix LeClerc whom the other guests told us Gerard resembles. I wish we lived closer as I would love to come again soon!
