We really don't expect too much from a Travelodge but this one has to be the best we've ever used. Not sure how they do it for only 19 pounds a night! Clean, quiet, not scruffy at all, receptionist helpful and chatty - her restaurant info lead us to one of the most unexpectedly enjoyable resaturant meals we've had in a while (do go to Elaichi. just a hew hundred yards down the road)

Grubby room. No toilet roll holder Staff on desk didnt want to be there just about managed to tell us how to get to our room I always use travelodge for business and pleasure visits. Most are xcellent this one not to clever needs a good makeover and staff need to learn a bit about customer service

This has to be, probably, the best Travelodge we've stayed in. The staff were very polite and helpfull. The room we had (room 127) was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, due to overlooking the carpark.
The onsite Little Chef has all the usuall fayre you get in any Little Chef, no complaints at all.
St Clears does not have much in the way of eateries, but what we can very highly recommend is the trully superb Elaichi Bangladeshi restaurant in Island Terrace, please try it, you won't be dissapointed.

Hotel was clean & tidy but pretty basic, Only a few channels on the TV unlike the full range of freeview from Premier inn. Must reccomend Anies Cafe in the high street for breakfast 4.25 Full English opens @ 9
