Stayed here on a business trip, decor is old and need of an update.
Staff friendly enough and food in resturant ok but wait for food seemed long.
Location of hotel feels remote, even though it is located right on top of shopping centre.
Room felt cold in evening and breakfast was buffet OK.
Suitable for a 1 night stay, don't expect anything special.

“Decent 3-star hotel in the suburbs of Copenhagen”
I have stayed ad Herlev Kro more than 10 times during my visits in Denmark and my experience was constantly positive. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The interiors are a little bit old stylish. Buffet breakfast is OK and dinners at the restaurant are really large and tasty. Rooms vary in size, but all of them were equipped with a desk, TV set, free wired and wireless internet connection. Beds were really comfortable. The hotel offers a complimentary coffee/tea machine at one of the floors. There is really good access to local buses, however the S-Train station is around 0.5 km away.

“Not quite what I had expected”

If you are looking for a tradtional Danish Inn, or Kro as they are called, this is not the place to stay. Their website could indicate that it was a combination of the old Inn and a new hotel, which it is not. The hotel is in a relatively new building in a rather dull neighbourhood. However,the rooms were good enough, spacious and with a good bed. We arrived late, and even though the chef was about to close the kitchen, he prepared excellent steaks for us.
