Lowe Farm is situated just a couple of miles outside the very picturesque half timbered village of Pembridge at the end of a no through lane which thus ensures your stay is uninterrupted by the sounds of traffic!
I was welcomed warmly by Juliet who carried my bags upstairs to Orchard View a small double bedded room overlooking the farm sheep.
As a professional who spends circa 40% of their time on the road, I spend a great deal of time in hotels.
My stay at Lowe Farm was related to leisure and I certainly was relaxed.
The bedroom was beautifully and tastefully furnished but also extremely comfortable.
A mattress topper ensured a luxurious sleep and there were a lot of thoughtful touches which enhanced the stay.
Flat screen TV, radio clock, hair dryer, magnifiying mirror, clothes brush, shoe cleaner, magazines, bathrobe, silent fridge stocked with milk and water plus range of choices on the hospitality tray.
The bathroom had a powerful mains shower, heated towel rail, plus hand creme, Q tips, plus shampoo, soap, conditioner.
Downstairs a lovely garden room meant that you could relax and read or watch the wide screen satellite TV.
Breakfast was served in a manner that would rival some 5 star hotels! Excellent choice of juices, cereals, fruits, yoghurts and fresh fruit, and the cooked option was superb.
The presentation was faultless.
The addition of a hot tub was something that tempted me but I was just too tired after my two days activities, but maybe next time.
I can honestly say that Juliet is the "hostess with the mostest" and thanks for the informal "party" on Sunday evening!
